"Fui un sábado al mediodía a comer con mi padre sin reserva previa y nos dieron una mesa sin ningún problema. Pedimos pan de ajo, tallarines a la carbonara y escalopines al cabrales. Todo estaba muy bien pero los escalopines son realmente recomendables. Nos invitaron a un chupito tras la comida. El servicio fue muy rápido y agradable."

"A partir de 1982, mucho antes de la invasión de las grandes transnacionales de las hamburguesas, Mike's Burger House debutó en Gijón como referente de esa popular comida rápida. En primer lugar, hay que destacar la llamativa estética del local. Con un poco de imaginación, es posible pensar que uno se encuentra en la hamburguesería de un pueblo estadounidense... en Springfield o Fairview, por decir algo. En cuanto a la comida, pedimos una deliciosa hamburguesa «Cabrales Blues», con un adecuado toque del icónico queso asturiano, y un «Chicken Bourbon». Este último estaba bien, pero no al nivel del bourbon chicken (pollo al estilo Bourbon) que se puede comer en la zona de comidas (food court) de cualquier centro comercial (mall) estadounidense. Probablemente el de Mike's no tiene uno de los ingredientes clave: el güisqui bourbon. Los precios son, en general, razonables, aunque 3,90 € por una cola me pareció exagerado. Se agradece que tengan wifi. Esta reseña se refiere al Mike's ubicado en la calle General Suárez Valdés, 2. Hay otro en Montevil."
