eating is delicious! perfect Greek food! with a great variety and everything cooked very well. is not the traditional gyros/kebab Greek restaurant. the complete opposite! its overthrow price, which is why we do not often go there, but definitely recommend to go there!

Great location, nice (modern lounge style) decor, great service, and wonderful food. The specialty here are the meze , which is the Greek version of Spanish tapas. Everything we ate was excellent and already before I left the restaurant I was thinking about the next time...to come there again. μπράβο!

love this restaurant, bit expensive but worth to go, with friends, family and couples.... dishes are not cheap but they are tasty, many things on the menu are worth. I love the taramo salad, soulaki, fried feta cheese, almost all appetizers.... i do not know...where to stop!! do not be afraid for the fact that is not often full, the problem is that not many people are ready to spend 5 euros more than usual to eat better than a schnitzel.

I 'm gonna have a Greek food baby I moaned to my girlfriend, as we left Eleon. Twins then, for I am too. she replied Little wonder either, for every dish was a delight. The bifteki with cheese was a highlight, as was the saganaki. The...tzaziki was a cut above what you might find at the local deli, beautifully complimented with Greek flatbread. What really made the whole experience a delight was the fantastic service. Our waiter was super sweet and friendly, and gave us some good tips on our choices. All in all, a wonderful evening.

I discovered the restaurant by chance, I had dinner with a friend and we enjoyed our meal, we will be back. we loved the tapas portion, we ordered 4 dishes and we couldn't finish all, there was no place for a dessert....We shared all the dishes that made us four different tastes. we enjoyed fried calamaris, the part of moussaka was exactly right, my friend loved the tomato and Greek yogurt butter. the only dish that was too rich consisted of fried mushrooms with cheese, the court alone would have been a meal for me. the dishes that were brought to others, all looked delicious. the service was attentive, we were asked several times if everything was to our satisfaction. an unforgettable dinne...

I could have eaten here every night when I was in Essen. Sorry I found you right before I had to leave town as I was there for business. I could have tried it all but what I tried was incredible including calamari and some...vegetables (flowerettes) including a starter dish I forgot the name of but I loved it all. It was all Tapas. Small plates but so so good. If only I could eat 10 plates but 3 was more than enough. All fresh made and the taste was incredible. We were looking for somewhere in Essen to have a less formal meal and we came across Eleon Meze Bar and what a find it was. The restaurant is well appointed in a very casual dining environment where you could dine either inside or outside...and the decor was quite appropriate. We made selections from a very varied menu and it was quite difficult to decide which to chose from as they were all very tempting. We ended up choosing six dishes and we were not disappointed. The ingredients were fresh and expertly presented, and the combinations of herbs and spices enhanced the flavours and each dish was excellent.
