"Positives The fish and chips tasted absolutely amazing, good quality fish, lovely light batter and portion was huge. Negatives look at the prices properly before you order, we were asked inside, outside or take away. We said outside as there were lots of empty pub bench tables outside the chippy not realising that was still classed as eating inside. The bill for 4 fish and chips, small pot of gravy and peas plus 4 bottles of water was £68! They add a charge on each item for eating inside so prob paid something like an extra £15 for the privilege. We would have got take away and sat on a bench if we had realised what was being charged. There prerogative to do this and our fault for not reading the prices properly. We decided to come inside when we realised and food came on plates which you would expect for that price, but tbh we didn’t really want I like eating chippy outside! and it was as I mentioned delicious but just a very basic chippy cafe for £70 is a lot. I think it was just annoying as we got confused about the outside seating, they need to make it clear you can’t eat your takeaway on the benches outside as you get charged, and maybe make the outside area a lot nicer. Overall would go again but get a take away and eat on the sea front ! 3 stars as even though chips were good, the experience was not."

Return visit and still very good. very polite and attentive staff very good food all cooked to order and clean throughout including toilets. OAP specials and gluten free options available.

Visited this place on 20th August, it was pouring with rain but as there was big umbrellas outside near the pavement we decided to sit outside because it was warm. Had to pay for a cheap plastic bag to take it away outside the cafe,...

We had really nice fish and chips here. Very tasty and the staff were very accommodating as I am a Gluton free eater. The food is ordered then cooked freshly and the service is very prompt. The tables and service area were very clean. A very nice meal by the seaside.

came here 3 years ago when in Burnham and decided was so good last time that we would go again and so happy we did. It is a chip shop with take away or dine in. prices are good and we had the pensioners special which was also good. we dined in you order and they bring the food to your table.Great friendly staff and good food

Stopped off on our bikes to get a couple of portions of fish and chips after a long bike ride. They charge extra to sit inside or on the tables outside but I guess that's fair enough as I think they have to charge VAT if you eat in it's the same in Pret so blame the government, not them. It's literally a ten second walk to eat them on a bench the seafront, which is what we did. The staff were really friendly and the fish and chips were delicious thanks guys!

Family of four had fish and chips which were ok, nothing to rave about. The amount left on plates said it all! Decided on an ice cream which they have a stand outside. Ordered two cones and two tubs, money was taken and waited our turn. Whilst waiting, a freezer came out of shop and put alongside the existing one. The girl asked what we wanted again then said she couldn’t serve us what we had chosen as freezer broke although the previous customers had been!?!!
