I’d give this restaurant 10 out of 5 if I could it’s INSANELY GOOD. The most tasty and amazing experience probably of my whole life. I Can’t wait to go back.

We attended Etch for the first time last night. Wow, what an experience. From arrival at the “secret” cocktail bar, then an absolute delight in terms of service, food and atmosphere. We enjoyed the nine course taster menu. I won’t post photos as you simply...must go and enjoy this experience! It was great that Steven personally comes to each table to greet. The staff are so knowledgeable on or every single course. Simply amazing.

we had the 9-speed menu with the wine tasting. it was expensive 1000 for 4 people) but honestly every penny worth. each dish was perfect and complemented by the wine. it is a long chaos as they receive 2 items in addition to the...9 courses, but the portions are small so that they feel at the end full but not exaggerated. not every week something to do, but an amazing place for a special occasion. oh and the service is impeccable.

Have visited once before and knew I’d come back but it’s not cheap so not something you do every day. But 9 courses with wine pairing is a full evenings entertainment and way better than a London show with dinner which would cost more! The...service is spot on. Not stuffy but exactly how it should be. The staff are all engaging and knowledgeable. The restaurant itself is spotless and a perfect balance of style but not overdone. Every single course was pure delight from the way it looks to the smells and obviously the taste. The wine pairing made it extra special. I had the 9 course tasting menu. Duck was one of the dishes I wasn't looking forward to it as i'm not keen on duck but i found it to be one of my favorite dishes. I don't want to write a review about every...dish because it would take too long but all I can say is that the service, experience and food is probably one of the best I've had. By far the best restaurant I've been to in Brighton. If I were to be very critical, the only dish myself and my pal found to be not on par with the other dishes was the cheese dish. What a find this place is! This is food about as good as it gets and the menu is ever changing based on what is locally available. The menu is simple and perfect, a choice of a 6 course or 8 course tasting menu; with a wine pairing option. They will happily alter to suite vegetarians etc. Everything we had, from a light broad bean and mint velouté soup, 20 minute sugar/salt cured fresh mackerel blow touched to crisp the skin, local beef and two deserts was outstanding.
