"The hottest place to eat in Lewisham, this authentic Sri Lankan restaurant deserves all the recognition it can get. A great selection of dishes prepared daily and if you like hot food you are in for a real treat. I'm less keen on morning bum burn, so rest assured there are milder dishes. It's not fancy and I've read reviews where it's been compared to a greasy spoon, but it's good food and it's not expensive. I love it and want it to survive the gentrification of Lewisham."

Delicious curries great selection generous portions. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Three different curries with meat or four vegetarian with a standard portion. Would recommend the aubergine one in particular!

it is not the glittering place in the city, but these currys are very tasty. be not stupid, this is not their classic run of the mill curry house, they all taste completely different from any curry they have tasted in their lives and they are also quite cheap. Visualizza piatti

Really lovely food; delicious curries and really fresh sides. Service was friendly and they were quite helpful. Exceptionally good value for money, and I have noticed the restaurant is popularly frequented by the Sri Lankan/Indian community, which makes you think it must be good. Two ate like kings for under £20.

This unassuming little curry place is incredible. The veggie currys are a revelation even for a meat lover spinach curry, beetroot curry, aubergine curry, all delicious. The onion bhajis are great too, perfect balance of crispy and juicy. Finally, good value and good portion sizes. Highly recommended Evarest Curry King.

A cheap as chips South Indian eatery. Choose your meal from the photos on the wall or from the dishes on display. Don't expect glitz as this is strictly a formica table place but the food is tasty, spicy cheap around £5 per head for a veggie or meat set meal you can't complain. No booze so you'll have to be content with a cup of tea or lassie. Visualizza piatti

good for those who live here looking for South Indian food. Coconut Chutney was really good, a bit sharp, though also for an indian, and sambar was also beautiful. dosa was a bit thick and kartoffel filling pretty close to home, so was idly. as I said when they go out to visit india it only after they have been here for a month. I recommend for those looking for home taste.

I don’t think I will bother to cook if I live by the neighbood , it has one of best veg curry combination around. Each taste individually great , and a great veg fest,That beetroot and cauliflower curry is took the spice so well , I will do my weekly here next time

"Me and my flatmates went to Naifs to celebrate one of our own's MA degree with a nice meal, and we are so glad that we did. Anne and the team were incredibly personable and friendly, which really stood out to us. As somebody who has worked many years in hospitality, one can tell that there is clearly a very tight-knit team at work here who does what they do out of and with love. We really enjoyed the concluding chat with the kitchen team about the amazingly delicious olive oil they served us with the bread it comes straight from the chef's uncle's olive plantation! The atmosphere was really lovely as well, and a lot of thought clearly went into it: there were lots of candles, soft light, beautiful serving plates. We found the decor very tasteful in general: the restaurant has a cozy, but elevated bistro feel to it which makes it the perfect place for a broad variety of occasions. We had the set menu, which at 27 GBP came at very good value. The menu really demonstrated just how colorful vegan and vegetarian spreads can be: the colors on the table alone were such a delight to behold! Needless to say it also all tasted amazing. We particularly liked the mushrooms in lemony broth, the dhal and the aubergine stew. Every dish had a creative spin on it that made it into something we had never tasted in that way before. The wine that was recommended to us was very nice as well. We finished our meal with a selection of British cheeses, which was very well put together. Naifs focuses on seasonal and regional ingedrients, which is another factor that really convinced us, and which is something that more restaurants should focus on. Whether you're a veggie or not: if you want to dine at an all around truly special place, you need to try Naifs. Keep up the awesome work, guys we will be back very, very soon."

"my friend and I went to capitulate for dinner to celebrate his birthday, as was capitula, we thought the only decent restaurant in blackheath. all the others seem to be pushing down quickly. we have been in the past often in the capitulas, and the food and services were good we had no appetizers and ordered only one main meal (black foam and black bell), because we were not huge hungry because we were eating a lot of birthday cakes earlier! we had a glass of wine and were offered a piece of bread. 35 minutes later we waited for our food. in this time no one came to ask if we were in order or offer us more drinks. I asked the manager if our food was ready. he said it would be 5 minutes without a statement of delay then disappeared 10 minutes later there was no sign of food or manager. That is why we decided to go because we lost interest in eating. we have to go and the manager came by. he told us the delay was due to a big party in the ground floor. this was not the case, there was a group of 8 people who had finished their meal for a long time. we were there earlier when it was much more business and the service was not so bad. while we waited, we saw a customer who had finished their meal, slipped £20 into the manager hand when he left. Perhaps the workers need bribe to provide good services? it is such a scandal, but another blackheath restaurant has become complicit and believes that it with the treatment of its customers without respect. I will vote for one with my feet and will not eat again in this restaurant. I will also leave everyone I don't know to go there"
