"Pros: A hidden Nepalese restaurant that classify as Indian restaurant in mass market. Fresh quality food, attentive service. Non-greasy curry as it should be in Nepal. The Kathmandu Chicken gravy was finger-licking good (despite the fact that a single cube of chicken tikka was bit rare from inside and staff had apologised when drew attention) Cons: Portion size felt too small so ends up being pricey! The Google review mentioned toilets so spoke to manager who confirmed that being a leased site despite their wishes they can 't do anything about it so ignore that part and carry on currying !! Would I return back? Of course yes."

We booked ahead and the service and food was great, nice Nepalese variations as well as the usual favourites.

Hidden gem. Ideal location for the pavilion. Food was of a very good standard, we chose the meal for two which was plenty and varied

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant, considering it was ranked second on TripAdvisor. The food was mediocre, especially considering the price.

Found this small restaurant on Google, looking for an easy evening meal whilst staying at a hotel nearby. It is in a basement down some steps. Limited phone signal, but they offer free WiFi. Very nice chicken tikka and sag aloo.

Still my favourite restaurant in Plymouth. Come here at least once every couple of weeks. Never had a bad curry and, yes, it appears a little tired and the steps are a thing, but don’t be fooled. The food is great and the guys are quiet but friendly. Highly recommended.

My friend and I both found this restaurant to be average in terms of the food quality and ambience. The menu offers a variety of options at reasonable prices for those looking to sample and evaluate the dishes themselves. The staff were all professional, helpful, and friendly, ensuring that our experience at the restaurant was enjoyable. Visualizza piatti

Another review, last reviewed back in May 2017 and I rated it 5 Stars then and I won't be changing it now, this time a went for the Chicken Shashlik with Mushroom Rice and Garlic Nann, service was quick, staff friendly. Don't let the dated 1970s decor put you off, it might not look the part from outside nor inside but trust me you'll enjoy the food.. Highly recommended if in Plymouth..

I went here with my man and a good friend to eat and the food is very delicious! the staff is very friendly and the restaurant is cozy. If we live in Scotland, we can't come here often, but if we can! I can't recommend the restaurant enough! (our friend unfortunately had warmth after dinner, but it was because of the hot weather and not eating! she was treated brilliantly and was quick again normal. so don't do anything to eat!

"Visited on a busy Saturday evening. General impression is the restaurant is clean, well presented and evidently well liked for how many people were in the small dining area. A little noisy, particularly in the confined space beside the kitchen, when seated close beside a louder table. As the evening progressed, we felt quite cold not sure if the heating was on? Service from the staff was outstanding, very friendly, polite, attentive, but food was slow to arrive. We were a little perplexed by having the appetiser on the table before our starter/main order had been taken, so having to work around still having the menus. The smoked butter was very strong my partner liked it, it was too much for me. Both fish starters were good, with the mackerel our favourite. The main courses were OK. The lamb was fine, but served with lamb fat root veg meant the whole plate was very similar flavoured, and the green beans/salsa verde felt like an afterthought. The skate wing was nice, and the crispy capers were a new and pleasant experience. The desserts rescued the food for me the creme brulée was outstanding, and the chocolate special was very good, with exception of a slightly chewy meringue. I feel I'm being picky with my criticisms, but fig tree is definitely priced higher than other more standard fare restaurants in Plymouth where we have also had very good food."
