"Wir hatten das Menu de Chasse (Spiel) mit einem Eintritt von Terrinen und Feigen mit Käse- und Entenscheiben und einem Hauptgericht mit Rehsuppe mit Schokoladensauce, mit typischen Seiten von Rotkohl und Kastaniencreme. Alles war gut vorbereitet, obwohl nichts wirklich überraschend war. Das eine innovative Element war der Nachtisch meines Sohnes: Sie brachten eine Art Brenner, um Marshmallows zu grillen (keine Sorge, es ist ein spezieller Glasbehälter, der nicht umkippt, schien sicher zu sein).Ich sollte erwähnen, dass wir im Bistro saßen, also hatte ich erwartet, dass alles etwas weniger förmlich sein würde, was z. "my wife discovered as usual this small shade among the hundreds of restaurants in genf. we ate summer rolls, meat spring rolls, a tris of start, bark noodles and chicken with lemongrass. friendly staff and stunning eating. if I could give ten points of...five, I would do it! plus water, koks and two beers we paid cfh, which is absolutely reasonable in the Swiss. we liked to eat so much that we will come back tomorrow."

"This is a typical French country restaurant in the simultaneously picturesque and mundane Versoix, with verdant forests and 1960s urban concrete buildings nestled cheek by jowl.Don't expect vegetarian, organic or healthy fare. It's rich and heavy on the meats, particularly wild game, heavy on fats; heart attacks waiting to happen. When I asked what vegetarian options existed, the waiter actually snorted, and could not refrain from making jokes about a three course salad meal. While the ingredients were quite available, it took prolonged negotiations to get vegetarian fare.Perhaps it is particularly unusual to get such a request and within the milieu, possibly socially unacceptable. The sense I got was that the customers were expected to genuflect at the chefs creations, which He deigned to allow mere mortals to savor. However, the pumpkin soup, minus the normal wild boar garnish, was quite good, though very creamy.The mixed vegetable plate was more than edible, though again, very rich, heavy on the butter. Butter is possibly considered one of the basic food groups in this neck of the woods. Not my cup of tea, to mangle a metaphor."

"Es kam mir so vor, als wäre es ein Ort, an dem man sich gut auskennen sollte. Mein Freund aus Vevey traf uns in Genf und wir ließen unser Gepäck in den Schließfächern am Bahnhof. Wir machten uns dann auf den Weg zum Mittagessen, bevor wir hinunter zum See und zum Jet d'eau fuhren.Im Grunde ist es ein Buffet, wo Sie wählen, was Sie essen und trinken möchten und dann gehen und bezahlen, was Sie auf Ihrem Tablett haben. Es gab einfach so viel Auswahl und alles sah köstlich aus. Die Fruchtsäfte wurden gut in einer bunten Reihe von vorgekochten Getränken präsentiert, die in einem Eisbett standen. Frische Gläser wurden regelmäßig gegossen.
