"we were here on a balmy evening in the middle of October 2018 we could still sit outside in the garden! they have a large vegan soljanka (which is a Russian left-over-soup), a suppe of the day, burger and several other main dishes. our third carnivore. a little grumpy when we proposed a vegan restaurant, but then he was pleasantly surprised by the toughness of his burger. the large version is in the did quite large. also the coffee with vegan milk was strong and delicious. the place was quite crowded on this Monday evening, which is often a sign of quality. we can highly recommend this place!"

I had some seitan wraps when I was there and it was really good. It's a modest place with cosy atmosphere.

I'll start off by saying I'm not vegan, so of course, I won't be as excited about a vegan place. Nevertheless, vegan food could be really good, and we've...

Ate there tonight on my way back to Berlin from Königstein Fortress and the Bastei bridge in Saxon Switzerland Ntl Park. I've been craving vegan/veggie food...

We had the seitan burger and the nut roast; both dishes were great. The service was quick and friendly. We liked the food so much that we considered buying take out dinner for later too (but then were still too full to pursue this, to...our later regret).

I came here as recommended by my hostel. I had a sinceenburger and a quarter master beer that financed local charity projects in the city. both were incredibly good and even better made by the cute little backyard surrounded by trees and plants and the friendly, helpful staff. absolutely would recommend for vegan, sweet or carnivores!

The food is great and there is a lot of choice in the menu. It’s perfect for vegans but it has enough dishes for non vegans to choose from as well Nice burgers!! The service is fast and very friendly! I brought my food...container and asked to fill it to take away instead of using a disposable take away bag. The atmosphere of the place is really cozy and cool!

Very tasty and good value vegan burgers. Really they do taste so great, even my meat eating friend was impressed! I had high expectations after reading other reviews and was not disappointed. Lots of flavour and a big portion (even when ordering the smaller size)....Been here a few times now and am always very happy and leave feeling satisfied. Very cosy and friendly inside.

the house where we were, suggested this place. it was close and I'm always on something vegan. I have to say it was the best visit in dresden. I ordered a burger with red linen and it was so delicious I was. very close to the order another. the place is very cozy and beautiful. there were also dogs that were even better. tables are quite large, so if they are alone or with their friends it is easy to meet other people from the environment. the prizes are not as high as they get. I would definitely recommend this place.

found this place on the happycow app as the nr.1 in dresden. I tried and was not upset. I had a table on Friday night and all the other tables were occupied. chose a traditional suppe called soljanka (if I am right) and from. a big surprise it was really good! I've been asking myself to have steak since, but the part of the suppe was enough for me. also had an alcohol-free beer, which was also tasty. the thing that surprised me most was what I found in a female bathroom. poster about feminism and ! some new tampons for a needy use. never before and for me it was a thoughtful idea.

"I stayed at the hotel in which this restaurant is situated, it is on the 5th floor, and I passed it a couple of times but it was always empty. One reason, I think, is that the menu is rather obscure, with slashes between the dish description as inscallop/saffron/guava/back puddingA little off- putting, I felt. However, as a lone diner, I was getting pretty fed up of waiting for bad food each evening, although in a beautiful setting, Dresden's main square and its surrounds. So on my last night I treated myself and got a table on the roof terrace. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, and produced a good selection of bread. It's clear there are 5 courses, an appetiser, a hot starter, a soup course, a main and dessert. I didn't want the soup. This wasn't a problem. To start, I had quail's egg/chick/gorgonzola/rocket, but it was so much more than that! It had a delicious fried bread cube, a gorgonzola sorbet, and crumbled herbs to garnish. It was, superb. But the description is selling itself short! The hot starter was also good, scallops in a saffron sauce, with a black pudding jelly. The "guava" ends up on the dish as a smear, nothing more. My main was beef/capers/sour cherries/ smoked aubergine, but again, more- a delicious sauce, and perfect mash- a small amount, but perfect....There are 3 dessert options, I enjoyed a nougat with gold leaf. In all, the food was beautifully presented, and the best food in Dresden so far, on a par, that is, with Kallemeiers where you have to book a table. This place deserves the same popularity but is selling itself short with the odd menu descriptions. It scares people off, like myself. I urge you to go and try for yourself. There's a great evening to be had, in a stunning setting."
