Finley's Cafe - Piatti

The most fantastic Ferrero Rocher ice cream, it’s incredible. However a smile from the people serving really would not go a miss really not at all welcoming.

Nice ice cream but was double charged by the staff when she told me my first transaction was declined. Checked the bank and I've been charged twice so clearly exploting the fact I was busy looking after the children. Will not be going back!

We stopped for ice cream here and were blown away by it! We go to the seaside often and always stop for ice cream, so when I say this is by far the best ice cream we have ever had, I don’t say it lightly. I can’t recommend it enough 12 out of 10 !! Visualizza piatti

Ice creams were nicely prepared and presented (e.g. with pieces of strawberry in the strawberry ice cream). Waffle cone was nice too. The cones were handed to us after the lady had taken her serving glove off which I did note in these covid times. Might bother some.

We recently stayed in the area for a short break, the Saltwater Grill was recommended by our Air B&B host and it did not disappoint. In fact, we kept going back ice creams, snacks and lunch. A good menu and excellent service. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Shout out to Ellie and all the team.

To be honest, after reading the reviews, I’m not even sure we went to the same place…place we went too didn’t have an indoor cafe but what it did have was an incredible window selling the most fanatic selection of gelato! Bought 2 ice creams and a doggy ice cream. Sadly whilst 1/2 way thru the salted caramel discovered 2 strands of hair in my ice cream My husband had clotted cream fudge, thankfully no additional “hair flavouring” remarked how nice it was. Would of returned and complained, but warm day and long queue at the cafe. My doggie did not like the “doggie” ice cream, think she has acquired a taste for diary vanilla ice cream. Shame as it was until the “hair flavouring” a nice ice cream. I must add my husband has no hair and mine shoulder length, certainly wasn’t ours

After seeing the pizzas being served we thought the restaurant looked great so popped in after our walk to Durdle Door so very hungry. We had to wait over an hour for our order and was very disappointed with the food when it finally arrived. My sons pizza was ok but pretty tasteless and my lobster and prawn salad was a joke. Tiny bits of lobster and prawns that looked like they were out of a tin. The dish was tasteless with no dressing. On top of that the service was appalling. Extremely unfriendly, no apologies for the late food. Several people complained of the same issues and the staff just didn’t seem to care. Would not recommend.

We stopped for ice cream for our 4 year old after an amazing visit to Durdle Door What a MISTAKE, the old woman at the ice cream counter which faces the street was inexcusably racist. She clearly had an attitude problem in itself as she didn 't really bother to serve the white family in front of us pleasantly more a series of grunts but at least she acknowledged them and served them. We approached the counter and she began shaking furiously and gave us some of the dirtiest looks, she then just looked away as if to dismiss us, not even What can I get you or what would you like?
