Very covid safe. Food is cooked to order, so you may have to wait. However, it is worth the wait the food is amazing. Every meal was hot and delicious. The portions are generous. Staff were friendly.

Excellent fish chip shop. Kebabs are huge (the snack box is more than enough for a meal) and of a better quality than most places. Fish chips delicious too. Friendly, efficient service both in the shop and when using delivery service. Highly recommended!

We call and order our cod chips by the time we drive there it is ready for us. Hot and the cod has large flakes so it show it comes from a big fishes. No tail pieces here. It is so much better being served in boxes so no grease, the chips are nice thick.

Great food and well cooked. Would definitely come back when we are next up here on a canal boat/ Food was hot and cooked to order. Best chips I have had for a long time. Staff were helpful and the prices were reasonable. Don’t miss this one it’s a real treat

Always great food and great smiley service. Can’t fault it. The only issue is the rising prices recently which is no doubt a function of Min wage, energy costs, ingredients cost and rent etc….but it’s getting to the point of being a treat rather than a weekday staple.

Have been to this chippy a lot. I have never had bad food. The chips are always hot and plentiful and the sausages and burgers are tasty and fresh. They do lot of different foods and the service is superb, the place is clean and tidy and they are open in the afternoons if you want an early meal.

If ever you are in the Rugby area and had a yearning for Fish and chips you can do no wrong by paying Fishsmiths a visit. Wonderful freshly cooked cod in crispy batter, chips that are fluffy, crispy and non greasy, the battered mushrooms are a must. Probably one of the best chippies in the midlands if not the UK

If we fancy pie, chips and gravy for a quick, easy tea, this is the place we go to. The staff are always friendly and polite and the chips are invariably really good, also. Their gravy, peas and beans are all vegan-friendly and, if you want to ensure they have a vegan pie, phone them about 45 minutes beforehand and they'll ensure there is one ready for you, which is a really good option.

I’ve never reviewed a fish chip shop before, but felt I have too. I visited Fishsmiths after 8pm on a very cold Thursday evening to purchase Cod Chips the service was prompt, polite and efficient I had to wait for the Cod but boy was it worth it! A huge piece in delicious crispy batter, the fish was purest white no skin and flaked beautifully it was simply the best I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this excellent Chippy!
