I came here in June 2017 with some friends. We had the 3 course meal and a bottle of champagne. It was one of the most amazing meals I have ever had, so many little 'tasters' and just everything was a flavour bomb! It was truly fabulous and really really great.

My experience at this restaurant was the most unsatisfying I've ever had at a restaurant and I've been fortunate to have eaten at many fine restaurants. Each item introduced had an odd taste that conflicted with the next. A 3 course meal consisting of 2 fishes and lamb was unappealing and it was insanely expensive. Don't go.

With a choice of 3, 4 or 7 courses we opted for 4 and that was ideal. So many amuse bouches/pre-appetizers ranging across many culinary ideas. Foams, purees, bites of prepared seafood and tiny herbs and flowers. Flavorful (smoked onion bouillon), often "deconstructed" (lamb two ways especially the confit with a ravioli), and of course an extra dessert to finish. Wine pairings were diverse and well chosen. Service was attentive and explanations at every item. Delightful and Highest recommendation.

My wife and I had a truly memorable meal. This is serious, sophisticated, thoughtful, inventive gastronomy. My wife and I had the 4 course set menu with wine pairing and enjoyed every morsel and sip. Many of the other reviews seem to mention the length of their meals...in that regard it is a somewhat languid affair. Our meal took 3 hours. But go with it. Our recommendation would be to check one's faster paced pretenses at the door, relax, enjoy the truly caring, attentive service and simply submit to the world-class cooking. You will not regret the experience.

Had not planned on going to Flaveur because I did not like the decor shown in the pictures. However we had lunch a Mirazur in Menton, listed as the 4th best restaurant in the world, and the Chef recommended Flaveur. We were not disappointed. I had the 4 course menu and my wife and her cousin had the 3 course menu. We also had a magnificent rose champagne that was very syrupy, fruity and a dark rose color. Te service was very friendly and good. Definitely deserved its star. BTW, I didn't like the decor in person either but the food and service more than made up for the decor.

Food was delicious and beautifully served, dishes were rich in taste. We tried the 3-course menu (75 eur per person) and received numerous amuse-bouches which were very creative. The food was served with fresh delicious buns and salted butter which was to die for. A total highlight for me personally! Service was very friendly and professional, both waiters spoke very good English. A minor minus for us was the inconsistent waiting time between meals. Also, while the buns were very tasty, the breads that were offered later did not meet our expectations because they were not that soft and did not seem very fresh.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a great meal in Nice away from the tourist restaurants near our Air BnB. Flaveur did not disappoint! The meal was outstanding....in fact the green pea and swordfish risotto may have been one of the best things I ever tasted. Every dish is a piece of art - presented beautifully with the most delicious flavours. We had the 7 course meal with wine pairings and were at the restaurant for may hours but loved every minute. The service is also outstanding. Jola the restaurant manager is so friendly, knowledgeable about every ingredient and wine and cares about the experience each guest receives. I'm not sure whether Michelin restaurant critics read TripAdvisor reviews but you never know :-)Food-wise this place totally deserves the star. The plethora of amuse-bouches alone were delicious.Service-wise, it was surprisingly shoddy. After ordering the seven-course tasting menu it became apparent partway through that courses were being skipped. Instead of acknowledging the mistake at the time, the waiter tried to cover it up by promising extra courses - almost an hour later a dessert arrived as though the missed courses and promised replacements had never happened. Once again the error was pointed out and the hapless waiter said he'd adjust the bill to six courses, then five when he tried...
