We have been using this takeaway for some time now food is excellent staff always friendly and polite if you phone your order through it's always ready when you arrive

Chinese food is all cooked lovely and even if it takes a while to get. It's all cooked fresh and tastes great!! Fish and Chips is also very good from here, not greasy and batter not thick like other places!

Very nice Chinese Takeaway, one of my favourite places to come to if I want some Chinese. The only downside I have is the food prices are a little on the expensive side, but apart from that it's a lovely takeaway I suppose you get what you pay for. A very enjoyable takeaway! Visualizza piatti

As above I have tried every Chinese take away in Stevenage and this edges them all. The way to go is order Thirty mins before required then go and pick up your food whilst grinning smugly at the people who didn't ring their order in packing out the shop. Special fried rice is my favourite along with king prawns with chilli and sea salt. Try it you will love it.

It was our first time-to have there food. We had the Chicken Satay skewers(4)-with sauce separate, Sweet and sour chicken balls(10), Chilli chicken, Egg fried rice, Chips, Oh and Battered Sausage. Well it was about £19.50, with free prawn crackers. Such great food and staff very helpful, never felt rushed to order. Waited about 15 mins. Will be going back again.

This place is amazing!The food is always of fantastic quality, great portions, the staff are lovely and friendly and reasonably priced.Trust me it's the best of its type in the town. I'm lucky to live quite close I would travel a fair way to get here otherwise! These guys run the V&V van that was in St. Nicholas a long time ago which delivered some fantastic food. Been going to fortunes place for 8 years now, never had a bad takeaway. The Chinese is superb the only downside is that it is so good that you have to queue on a Friday and Saturday night in particular, recommend that you phone your order over and then collect. Fish and chips are awesome as well, both freshly cooked again never had a bad one. Staff are always rushed off their feet but remain helpful and attentive. If you haven't already give it a go.....

This is by far the best chinese take away in Stevenage. I always phone orders through and pick up half an hour later or so. The place is almost packed with people waiting which in itself is a good sign. Staff friendly and polite and given the children fortunes cookies. I have been going here for years and always return. The chinese takes a while as all cooked to order but is worth the wait my son tells me the fish and chips are great too. Would recommend.

I remember years ago when these guys used to function out the back of St Nicks shops in a Van. We used to look forward to going there every weekend, it was Stevenage's best kept secret. They disappeared for a while then opened the Fortunes Place in Great Ashby, and I am so glad they did, they deserve every success. The chow mein has lovely thick noodles perfectly cooked, not too greasy. The sweet n sour chicken balls are the biggest and most succulent I have ever had.
