"Wir waren zum wiederholten Male am Campingplatz in Waging. Leider war dieses Mal das Wetter total beschissen, was dazu führte das wir uns, anstatt zu grillen, eine Möglichkeit zum Essen gehen suchten. So sind wir dann auf den „Boadwirt“ gestoßen. Das Essen war super, schöne große Portionen für einen noch fairen Preis. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Lokal stimmig. Wir können daher manche negative Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Wer in Bayern zum Essen geht, der will einen Schweinsbraten mit Knödel , einfache traditionelle Küche und keine „Schickimicki“ Pinzettenküche wo die Teller größer sind als die Speisen. Macht weiter so! Wir kommen wieder"

"Sehr schönes Lokal mit tollem Balkon und Erinnerungen an unseren kini: Wir haben die Istriaplatte für 2 Personen gegessen. Haben wir nicht geschafft. Das Fleisch hätte noch ein wenig Gewürz möglichst aus Kroatien vertragen können. Die Bedienung war auch supernett. "Leider nicht mehr die Qualität wie vor einigen Jahren, simple Friteusenqualität ideenlos serviert. Auch die Professionalität lässt zu wünschen übrig, der Wunsch nach einer großen Portion Spätzle mit Soße anstelle einer Kinderportion für unseren hungrigen Jüngsten stellt die Bedienung bereits vor eine größere Herausforderung. Für das Personal und den Chef ist es wichtiger, gemeinsam in geselliger Runde zu speisen, statt das Wohl der zahlenden Gäste im Auge zu haben. Dies respektiere ich, komme aber nicht wieder. Hier muss der Gast zum Personal an den Tisch kommen und höflich darum bitten, eine weitere Bestellung aufzugeben. Die Begründung, dass der Chef auch das Wohl des Personals im Auge haben muss finde ich grundsätzlich richtig, aber bei zwei Bedienungen isst halt nur eine oder der Chef kümmert sich selbst um seine Gäste, dann wäre das Argument mit der Verantwortung fürs Personal richtig glaubwürdig. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze damit, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist und dass 10 Minuten nachdem die Rechnung beglichen war, die Bedienung erneut am Tisch steht und erklärt, dass der Chef vergessen hat eine Portion Schnitzel zu berechnen (lag wohl daran, dass um dieses und einige weitere Getränke zu bestellen wie schon beschrieben wir zum Tisch des Chefs mussten, um zu bestellen). Lieber Chef, das Argument der Personalnot ist derzeit in aller Munde und muss für alle Probleme und Fehler als Ausrede herhalten, letztlich macht die Führungsqualität des Wirt's den Unterschied."
