The food is always good here, tipple fried chips a delight, but deep brown in colour and may not be to everyone 's taste (perhaps there are options? . I 'm a rib fan and these are simply divine. However I had the 'half and half ' which turned out to be 3 bbq ribs and around 8 much larger dry rub....??? The 3 small bbq ribs quite disappointing. The pulled pork burger was ok but again on the pricy side. All in all an ok night but a little underwealming, but won 't be returning too soon. Could do with revitalising I guess. A shocking response from management on Trip Advisor... Hello Lee Underwhelmed is not good. I 'm sorry that you left our restaurant less than delighted. I note this was you fourth visit so I guess we aren 't that bad or you would not have returned three times. You visited on Valentines night and we were extremely busy as one would expect. We served 85 guests in our 44 seat restaurant and I 'm pleased to report that the vast majority were delighted that they chose us to celebrate with their significant other. I have looked at your bill and orders and also studied the CCTV footage. Your feathers were unnecessarily ruffled. We have never and will never charged a mandatory (compulsory service charge. Our menu clearly states A discretionary 10% service charge is added to all bills. This is shared between all staff, front and back of house . Most restaurants in our vicinity have a similar policy. The CCTV shows your waitress checking in with you twice, and re visiting your table once more to enquire if you would like your drinks replenished. She did a table check when you received your mains and once when you received your pudding. So a total of three times.The reason they check in is to ensure that you are delighted with your meals. Had you mentioned that your baby back rib portion was smaller than you desired she would have immediately and without argument or fuss brought you some more free of charge. There was no pulled pork sandwich/burger ordered. A Ribwich (rib meat off the bone was ordered, and a half and half rib meal. We use only fresh, British meat in our restaurant and the processes that we use to create authentic American style BBQ are extremely labour intensive. Hence we will never be a cheap eats establishment. If we used frozen meat and the boil in the bag technique for our ribs we could charge less, but we never will. There 's an old saying that is as true today as it has ever been You get what you pay for . I note that you will not be returning soon. If you ever do please voice any concerns or disappointments in the restaurant at the time of service and we will bend over backwards to rectify any error or issue. Kind Regards Adrian Gallacher."

Very beautiful place, well presented. Great staff in the restaurant. Great food was served. Large drinks were served. Nice cocktails were made and it was a very pleasant night out.

Been here few time. Seems since its been under new owners. Prices have risen and the food quality not as good. On a sat eve restaurant was 3/4 empty where before would never get a table on the day. Service was good just in our view food and prices let it down. We won't go back in a hurry sadly .

I'm really happy that Gallacher's has reopened! The ribs are as delicious as ever, but I noticed they've cut back on the menu for smoked items. Unfortunately, the chicken and pulled pork are missing, which may be a result of reduced customer numbers post-COVID. I hope they eventually expand the menu again! I'll definitely be going back.

Some of the food was very good, some not. So, hit n miss I guess. The young female staff made several mistakes to our orders thru out the evening, very slow at taking our orders. Salty caramel dessert sauce, you could actually see the salt !! We did get a couple of deserts refunded. Would not want to go there if it was busy. Probably wouldn't return Visualizza piatti

My group of seven arrived shortly after, and we were seated without delay. The playful banter between the waitress and our group immediately created a fun, lively atmosphere. As a seasoned traveler, I would rank this place second on my list for BBQ, right behind Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse in Brooklyn, New York. Now, about the food... I'm at a loss for words, so I'll just let the photo I posted speak for itself!

Many restaurants these days serve smoked BBQ, but few do it right. This place is exceptional! They truly know how to utilize their smokers. The meat is allowed to shine on its own, rather than being smothered in sugary sauce. The seasoned fries and cornbread complement the meal perfectly. Their craft beer selections pair nicely with the smoky flavors of the food. (This is the first food review I’ve ever written, which speaks volumes!)

Ordered the Ribs with a side of Brisket...unfortunately the ribs were off and I had to return them. The staff were apologetic, credited my account, I re-ordered, choosing the sirloin steak med-rare which arrived.. really delicious, especially with the in-house smoked butter, but was on the rare side of med-rare...my wife's med-rare rib-eye steak was overdone (very medium) but was still delicious. Arrived here with my wife and daughter who had booked us a table for my birthday. Ignored on arriving 'no, ill be with you in a moment , or any acknowledgement from waitress. Left standing like lemons for a while. Eventually shown to a table. No drinks offered, after quarter of an hour we just left, and got back in the car. Gave our money to an Italian restaurant, Spaghetti Junction, who were appreciative of custom. Moreover, the food was superb.

what a place is that? we sat on Saturday at 1 o'clock and had the place for us. service was friendly and helpful. that was great. 2 dishes were served to the lukewarm, who was disappointing and therefore not 5 stars, but not enough to complain because everything was tasteful and great. the sown chips were delicious. I had the pitmaster and couldn't manage it completely. are they warned, the ribs are not baby ribs, but monster dinge. my daughter couldn't manage half rack if she usually swallows a full rack of baby back ribs. my man loves ripening and when offered ripening bark instead of pork was thrilled. while seemingly huge quite a lot was boney and fat yet still very tasty. overall we wer...
