Visited for an Anniversary, a great atmosphere with impeccable food. A very good edition to Maidstone and should be proud of what they produce. Will recommend

No bread served or offered, strange. Cocktails were not cold enough verging on warm ! We asked for hot plates but they were barely warm. Mains very salty. Treacle tart bland with almost no taste...was it brought in ? Maidstone needs fine dining but this restauramt needs to listen and to sort things out. WHY OH WHY are hot plates so difficult to have ?

The menu is a fixed price and very reasonable considering that cooking is top notch. All our dishes were delicious and would not have been out of place in a Michelin Starred restaurant. Everything, including cocktails, was faultless. This is the place for high-end eating without going to the great city price. We were now twice and will certainly go again.

Was recommended this place by friends and glad they did. Good choice on the menu of food cooked with local quality produce. The chef knows his stuff and has produced some great flavours, well executed and well presented. Food is up there with some Michelin starred restaurants I have eaten in in the past And it is really cheap too!!! Steak night is also well worth a go

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were greeted by a noisy bachelorette party. As we stayed longer, the noise level increased, but we assumed it was due to the food. Unfortunately, we encountered issues with the vegetables being cold and the jus being overly salty. The gnocchi, which was supposed to have garlic, lacked any discernible flavor. The portion size was small for the price (£20) and the food was served cold. My partner enjoyed their starter, although it was not enough to satisfy. When we raised our concerns with the manager, she promised to inform the chef but then avoided us and seemed bothered. After deciding not to have dessert, we waited a long time for the bill. On arrival there was a hen party which got louder the longer we where there but we accepted that, it was the food we had a problem with the vegetables where cold and the jus was very salty. The 5 green gnocchi squares tasted like eating stodge with no flavour even though it was supposed to contain garlic. For the price £20) there was little on the plate and it was cold.
