"last night we were spontaneously in the guest house pegnitztal and sat in the garden. the small beer garden in front of the house is beautifully landscaped. the service was very attentive. I have eaten an salad with chicken breast strips in sesame. the chicken was wonderfully tender and the green salad was crunchy fresh and made with a great dressing. the dessert a pannacotta on kiwi with candied walnuts was also the hit. everything in all a great restaurant. so."

We live right around the corner from Pegnitztal. The food and service are terrific, and we usually take friends who visit from the U.S. and elsewhere here for dinner to get a taste of a traditional Franconian food. The cost is very reasonable. You will not go wrong.
