"Das Essen war am 11.02.2024 besonders schlecht, besonders die Pommes Frites, die billigsten Pommes genommen, die nicht geschmeckt haben und noch dazu teilweise verbrannt waren und ein Stück Holz befand sich auch noch darin, wo dies wohl herkommt ?! und das für knapp 39 €, für Paprika, Jäger, Rahmschnitzel etc. verlangt die Krone inzwischen 18,90€ mit Pommes und Salat, ganz egal ob zum dort essen wie auch zum mitnehmen und dies sind keine XXL oder XL Schnitzel sondern zwei kleine Schmetterlingsschnitzel, auch kein großer gemischter Salat und die Pommes sind auch nicht üppig und schmeckten beim letzten Mal überhaupt nicht siehe oben, wir gehen inzwischen woanders hin, die Preiserhöhung und das Essen beim letzten mal, das müssen wir nicht nochmal haben !!!"

I love this restaurant. It is very cozy and feels like going to someone's house. Sitting is limited so I would recommend the reservation. The service is wonderful. Even if they are busy, the servers are really inviting and accommodating. Portions are huge!

I adore this restaurant. It's very cozy and feels like going to someone's house. Seating is limited so I would recommend making reservations. The service is wonderful. Even when they are busy, the servers are genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Portions are huge!

The crown has been very popular since my first visit in 1984. You have a wide selection of German cuisine that contains a healthy vegan menu. There are outdoor seating and the staff is great. You have a good choice of local, national and international beer and wine, with a variety of spirits with the always popular Asbach and Jaegermeister Apertifs. When I get to the food service, you're gonna start eating for dinner now! Rouladen, Jaegerschnitzel, Rahmschnitzel, Blutwurst, Bratwurst, Rindswurst with sauerkraut, Spiess or Bratkartoffeln awaits your watering appetite.
