"Together with the bird Karlsruhe and Vogel Ettlingen, the bird Durlach is probably the best brewery and the best beer gardens in Karlsruhe. The food is reasonable from the price unfortunately the meat of the weekly card is not always tastefully top, for all the more. Especially recommended are Gulaschsuppe, Vogelburger and all Schnitzel. The standard beer is very tasty, the seasonal beers sometimes somewhat needy but definitely delicious. In football matches, the bird is always full, and otherwise the owner cannot complain that it is empty. The beer garden is very nice, you can sit very comfortably outside. The controls are very nice and always put on a joke. Definitely worth a visit!"

We were in a bird in Durlach. Of course, it's not a gourmet restaurant, but you shouldn't expect that. But today on 16.3.23, we got a little more than annoyed. At 4.40 a.m. we reserved a table from 18:00 a.m. No problem, we're gone in a good hour. At 5.40 a.m. a young man came as a bird representative and said we had to get up, people were already there. The problem could certainly have been expressed in a different tone, especially because a different table had just been released in the series. But we haven't seen anything like this in any Volgel restaurant (KA, Ettl., Durl. and at no time.
