The food is great and comparatively cheap. The service is nice and it's really comfortable both inside and outside. Cash and card payment is possible. You just have to remember that if you arrive by car you have to pay a minimum of €6 for the parking ticket.

After a very tiring hike, we stopped at the first restaurant we found and it was a hit. The service was very nice and the food was also delicious. During the ten days of our vacation we had dinner here three times in the evening and were more and more enthusiastic each time. The hosts are born restaurateurs, always friendly, accommodating and helpful. The quality of the food is exceptionally good, with an excellent price/performance ratio. After the hike to the Wimbachgrieshütte we stopped here and felt so well taken care of that we came back to eat a second time during our week of vacation. We were sent there by our landlords after a long hike as this restaurant would serve hot food until 8pm. This was also confirmed on the homepage. At 7:35pm we were greeted by an extremely rude waiter who claimed that there were differences between theory and practice. The kitchen has been closed since 7 p.m. due to high demand. There were exactly two tables occupied in the restaurant ?! . Our request for a cold snack was also briskly rejected.
