"we should stay at the beach hotel and get the key in the hotel godewind. we came with the evening ferry, got the key, had hunger and just put us in the restaurant godewind. the colleague standing behind us and acting like a manager sat right on the table next to us, I think he and the guests knew each other. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Relativ großes Rsaturant aber dennoch gemütlich, Service und Essen gut....

Bei jedem Besuch in Vitte ein Muss. Essen ist lecker. Man sollte besser reservieren, da das Restaurant in der Saison abends meist voll ist.

Für Hiddensee relativ großes Restaurant mit breitem Angebot. Relativ teuer und leider auch etwas in Richtung "Massenabfertigung". Die Bratkartoffeln sind eher nicht zu empfehlen.

Vom Haus gemachten Hering, zu Salaten, Fisch bis Wildschwein. Das beste Essen, das wir auf Hiddensee gefunden haben. Auch die Hausgemachten Kuchen sind sehr fein. Zudem ist das Servierpersonal sehr bemüht und freundlich und das Management ausgesprochen nett. Dringend reservieren wenn zum Abendessen. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder.

Wer es - wie ein Vorrezensent - für ein Qualitätsmerkmal eines guten Restaurants hält aus 40 Hauptgerichten auswählen zu können, ist im Godewind sicher falsch. Denn hier wird mit frischen Zutaten gearbeitet: Der Service ist aufmerksam, die Teller gut gefüllt, die Atmosphäre angenehm. Eines der wenigen Restaurants auf Hiddensee wo man auch nach 20:00 Uhr noch gut essen kann. Empfehlung.

Das Hotelrestaurant hat eine sehr gemütliche, urige Atmosphäre, der Service ist gut und schnell. Das Hausbier ist empfehlenswert, die Qualität der Speisen unterschiedlich, von der sehr guten Fischsuppe über guten Fisch bis zu den eher mäßigen Bratkartoffeln, die auf Hiddensee anscheinend eine Art Lackmustest für die Qualität der Küche ist. Aber wegen der Kulinarik fährt ja auch niemand auf diese wunderschöne Insel.

I know the hotel godewind only from the next season (oster) and for this time you can say that the well-maintained hotel is in the middle of vitte in the evening. a well-filled dining room, good eating, nice staff. the rooms are comfortably equipped. in principle you also live quietly, only the rooms on our site were a bit pale. even at eating outside the restaurants is nothing to be put out, the breakfast was very solid.
