"We had lunch today at this grotto in Rovio and it was as good as we remembered, or maybe better. The extensive menu offers a wide choice of dishes cooked with the care and attention that the top quality ingredients deserve. The meat dishes were simply sublime: the slow cooking and the attention to the characteristics of the raw materials are noticeable in every bite. Texture and flavor were exceptional! Furthermore, the service was quick and it was very pleasant to chat between courses with Monica and chef Fabrizio. We will definitely be back!"

Very beautiful traditional interior, delicious food, excellent welcoming owners and staff. Delicious pork ribs!! The outside is also very welcoming, including the outside terrace and overall atmosphere in Rovio. Definitely recommended.

We came back as it’s simply such a great restaurant! This time we chose a fantastic bottle of red which is produced in the village, truly 0km! The staff remembered us and we had a wonderful chat all together at the end of our evening. 10/10 again!

After reading the reviews we've decided to switch from La Liste choices of gourmet restaurants to this local gem and it was a great decision. Portions are big, it's not Michelin restaurant, but the quality is superb. Choice of wines is decent as well. And the service is outstanding.

Superb Grotto typical of the region. We went there by chance and were delighted both by the very good food (the kid cooked at low temperature was magnificent) and the very friendly and warm meeting with the owners and their waitress. We will come back next time to enjoy the beautiful terrace
