Ate here a year ago and nothing has changed. Large menu, Greek flavor, amiable staff. The area is worth visiting: the hill is topped by a church.

Full on a Tuesday evening. Plenty of waiting staff, all amiable. Standard Greek menu, dozens and dozens of choices. Good combination of German ambiance, Greek food, happy diners.

We have a lot of friends who rave about this place. We have been several times and enjoy it but prefer a Greek place downtown Stuttgart. It is good, small and quaint. I suggest making reservations because it stays busy.

We wanted to dine in at first but changed plans to take away instead. We ordered special menu 71. When we picked up the order, they gave a bottle of Greek wine on the house. I was with a friend, ordered Lamb kleftiko, johannisbeer nektar, fried calamari and something..the food was OK..i would not say extra-ordinary but OK. The worst part was they didn't except ATM cards so my friend has to pay for me. Service was good as they offered free shots. The atmosphere is really compact and loud. I would come again despite of the compact ambience but with cash!

This is the second time I've dined here, both without a reservation and they've found me a seat even though it's packed and treated me graciously. That said, get a reservation! It's always packed! Food was excellent (gyros and lamb), service very good, but not great English speakers. If you don't have any German it might be a challenge, although they had menus in English so you can always point. Very nice old gasthaus in Boblingen. I will dine there again next time I'm in town. And, oh, they serve the excellent local Schonbuch Bier.

Decided to try Gruner Trum with a friend for lunch, looking for good calamari. Was surprised about how busy the restaurant was for lunch on a weekday/no holiday! Waited just a few minutes for them to prepare a table. The atmosphere is very cozy and the ambience is nice. My very first thought was this would be great for a date night! Once seated, greeted with a complimentary shot of Ouzo, not my favorite, but nice touch. They had a lunch menu, as well as the regular menu to order from. Ordered the calamari as an appetizer.
