"I enjoyed a vegan afternoon tea at this restaurant for £17.95. The tea included three finger sandwiches (vegan cheese and tomato, cucumber, and hummus and salad), a large vegan scone with vegan cream and a choice of jams, and a slice of either lemon or banana and cinnamon cake. Soya milk was offered for the tea. The portion size was generous, and I ended up taking my slice of lemon cake home. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. COVID restrictions were adhered to, with all staff wearing masks and tables well spaced apart."

"The pros:Came for breakfast on Sunday morning, didn’t have to do book, buh got 6 of us seated with a high chair, although the restaurant really wasn’t busy, it was only us and another table.The food was good too, exactly what you would’ve expected and they were willing to make some changes to a meal.The cons:This is where they have massively failed, the service was unbelievably slow, our tables order consisted of 4 of the same thing (pancakes) and then a cooked breakfast.There we sat with children at table growing impatient with the wait. Another table came in, ordered (some of their orders were exactly the same as ours also) received their food, had paid up and left before we’d even received ours. That was really helpful while you have waiting hungry children.When the food eventually came, some was wrong.It would have been better to have said something to the staff when leaving rather than having to leave a review, but we were never asked by anyone how our visit had been or was the service ok.Maybe they don’t have their first team staffing it on a Sunday morning or they had all had late nights but the service was sub par with the staff seemingly just ‘phoning it in’I’d go elsewhere when looking for a breakfast out, this place has got worse over time and seems to be carrying on in that way."

"All frozen and warmed In a microwave …… Spent just under a £100 for what we hoped was a genuine feast for a family members birthday Half a crispy duck plastic container filled with 1cm pieces of the worst dried meat I’ve ever seen and then the dried old bones on top I assume to prove it’s duck. It got binned as inedible waste of £18 Anything in a sauce was floating in water and brightly coloured obviously pre frozen and microwaved Anything chicken was tough tasteless in some cases rock hard, some of the bread crumbs were bright orange had not seen that kind of thing in Years The beef chow mein was burnt not eaten Rubbery prawns need I go on The young person who took the order should have been the warning rude sallow and couldnt have cared less So much food was wasted, either vile or tepid not even warm, birthday relative was so Embarrassed as they had recommended it. There is zero chance there is a chef there and no chance anything saw the inside of a wok That night. The most recent reviews are obviously the same person It’s getting harder to find anywhere that does a decent take away these days and not just in this town either. The size off their menu and how many dishes they offer should be the warning Never again"

"it has to receive consistency with delivery. tempoura garnelen, not available, as the lobster thermidor. you have to say that the team has redeemed itself with the risotto and goulash, but disappointed me beforehand with a starter of three small chipolatas and micro discs of apples that are for. £6.95 prizes as this will kill them as a business. put some salat on the plate and more chipolatas. the service staff was helpful, a bit inexperienced, but attentive. great location next to the canal, cut off from the high road, access through the canal way, or a very narrow street, so kerb side call is only from the canal side, we visited mid-winter, but would see a great time had of canal boats in the late summer. back to eating, the Puds menu open, is boring, that said the ice is stunning. we tested their ability to do calypso and Irish coffees, their lack of knowledge in their ability to make them was more than in their desire to say yes and try to happen. it is amazing what a smile can do. the result can be improved. other observations are: the acoustic must fix, hanging from the covers. Please look at the menu seriously. it is too short, mouthful and a tad confused, or stay as cocktailable and stuffing eating."

"Reception was a bit difficult to find myself, but staff has been extremely helpful during my stay. Check-in was smooth, and room was a very nicely sized area, which also appeared very clean. Received a message from the hotel that the music in the bar could lead to noise until 2am, however this was very well covered. Couldn't hear the music from the room. Breakfast was good as well, freshly prepared for me on the spot. Would definitely recommend to others when staying in or near March. Thank you for your hospitality!"
