Very friendly service and not long to wait for food. Fish and chips were delicious and good value for money. Will come again.

Last visited about years ago, so was intrigued to see if it had kept up with the times and was pleased to see it had. Food was basic but good when I went previously, this time food was still good with a varied and...reasonably priced menu. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Pleasant surroundings but icing on cake was Holden's Glow. If only I lived closer!

Went in here for dinner as we where passing and thought we would give it a try. Staff are great. But that’s where it ends. Had the beef Sunday lunch which I left most. Beef smelt off. The rest just tasteless. I knew it was...going to be a bad meal when I saw the for Sunday dinners but didn’t think it would be so bad. As with all things in life you get what you pay for. To be honest you may as well go Iceland and get a ready made frozen dinner because that’s basically what it is.

We went to an outdoor cinema experience to watch Grease. It was nice outing , a friend's favourite film and we all know the songs. Cinema food' was on offer..burnt fries and greasy breadcrumbed chicken. There were warm bottles of beer and wine being...served on an outside table. The food was bad. The pots with the sauces in were dirty. Huge lack of effort for people that had paid for a ticket and are then paying for drinks on top. Those fries and their smell will stick in my head a while. Today January my friend and I went for lunch at the Hare and Hounds. We regularly eat there at least once a week sometimes more. Today we arrived at : pm found a table and ordered our food, fish and chips,...scampi and chips both with peas and two soft drinks. We ordered and paid for the food at : pm by pm no food had arrived. my friend asked the waiter how much longer would our food be? He replied I'll Check on it by : pm the waiter had not returned and we were hungry and fed up so after of waiting we asked for our money back. Having looked at reviews we decided to try here for lunch. Beautiful day sat outside not too busy, seven tables occupied mainly couples and tables of four. So scene set. Ordered drinks, took a while to appear, took the opportunity to order food when drinks...were served, glad we did. Food arrived one hour later and definitely not worth the wait. We both had Wrexford chicken. Tasted awful. The sauce was obviously from a packet, tasted very powdery, and the gourmet chips were definitely frozen oven chips. No gourmet about them.
