"Erneuter Besuch nach langer Zeit im Haus Töller. Preislich sind die Speisen spürbar in der oberen Liga angesiedelt, wobei deren Qualität aber auch stimmt. Die knusprige Haxe war innen zart, das geschälte Hämmchen stattlich und lecker. Beim Roastbeef mit Bratkartoffeln stimmten Geschmack der Bratkartoffeln und Gargrad des Fleischs; dass ein gemischter Salat dazu bestellt wurde, war ob der ausgelieferten Portionsgröße kein Fehler. Optisch und qualitativ heben sich die Speisen deutlich von dem ab, was einem in so manch anderem Kölner Traditionsbrauhaus aus deren Küchen zugemutet wird. Der Köbes war schon speziell. Er war gewiss keiner dieser Hauptschulabbrecher, die in manchen anderen Kölner Brauhäusern in ihrer Köbesuniform die Gäste bepöbeln und diese Flegeleien unter Brauchtum verbuchen. Nein, eher etwas introvertiert und recht behäbig- muss man mögen. Da die Tische sehr eng stehen, ergibt sich im Laufe des Abends ein sehr unangenehmer Lärmpegel und wenn eine größere Gruppe hinter einem ihren Platz einnimmt, kommt es auch schonmal zu Körperkontakt. Alles in allem hat es wieder gepasst. Gut , nicht befriedigend ."

Uriges Brauhaus mit tollem Ambiente. Es wird Päffgen Kölsch ausgeschenkt. Das Essen war lecker. Die Schnitzel sind riesig. Der Sauerbraten traditionell aus Pferdefleisch. Der Köbes war schnell und rau aber herzlich. Nur Barzahlung

Das Essen war gut. Die Atmosphäre ist typisch für Köln. Was ich als Nicht-Kölner nicht verstehe, dass man mehr als nur seltsam angeguckt wird und man einen kaum intelligenten Spruch kassiert, weil man einfach kein Kölsch trinken möchte. Da hat das Personal etwas Nachholbedarf in Sachen „Gast ist König“.

Ich bin schon seit 1999 im Rheinland, aber war noch nie im Töller. Welch ein Versäumnis!!! Das Haus Töller ist zu 100% authentisch, man fühlt sich sofort kölsch aufgehoben. Päffgen einfach lecker und das Schweineschitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Salat für 20€ vielleicht einen Tick zu teuer, aber alles andere als Massenware. Wirklich lecker . the house töller is a trip back to the time. a typical rustic restaurant. once in them will be amazed at how many tables are available. the menu is on the table, a small and attractive menu. on the wall mentions a blackboard the daily (meat) catch.... I can recommend to go for the velvet (it takes 45 minutes to prepare, go early at 17 o'clock and they will dinner at 6-ish pm if there are not too many other people going in). another great choice is hammchen or banker or pork. Anyway, you can't go wrong. fun and bring an appetit. there is only one dessert mentioned on the menu and it is worth ordering.

Attention wine lovers: 0.1 4 Euro (although expensive), 0.2 l water 2 Euro 1 wine choir 0.2 l not corresponding to 6 (if you would mix it yourself), but 8 Euro!!! This means that simple water is calculated at the same price as wine. It's not a mercenary. A discussion of such prices with the administration of the house was not possible. Since there are more friendly and better placed houses in pricing, I will look away from future visits.

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
