"first I was skeptical of the restaurants and what it had to offer and of what some people told me, and some old pictures I saw online. but I still wanted to try it for myself. but when we got our food, it was another story, the appetizers were very fresh and had a good presentation to them. the restaurant had a good selection at the appetizers, portion sizes, where exactly right for this type of restaurant. as I come from this region, last year I had quite a lot of Arabic food in bonn, but this restaurant is them in the quality and fresh of what we had. our main courses were also good, but I prefer the appetizers that were offered. I think we were full of it alone. next week we will definitely return and try other items. the staff was good and friendly and had good knowledge of eating. but if they are planning to go at the weekend, make sure to make a booking as they are quite full of the time we leave early in the evening. the location was right at the river, so we sat outside the river that was pleasant while we enjoy our meal."

This restaurant is next to the Rhine with nice staff and fresh and tasty food. I espacially enjoyed the selfmade hummus!

Hayat is a genuine Lebanese restaurant. They serve plenty of very delicious mezes, arak and many kinds of meat dishes. The owner and the waitresses are very kind and friendly.

Hayat is next to my hotel, so I decided to try it. No English speaking servers, non English menù, food nothing special, but I spent hours alone to eat nothing. No no no. Worst. Really upset.

We chose the Hayat as one companion was vegetarian and Oriental food offers chances for a different meal without meat. The vegetarian companion was pleased. The lamb I chose was good. The best was being able to sit outdoors next to the river and enjoy...life.

We visited the restaurant last night with some German friends and we're amazed. Babaganush, humus, salads, bread, kebab all food was tasty and fast-made that we didn't need to wait for long. Calm place with the Rhine River on the site...What else do you...need on Bonn?

Heard about this place as an up and coming Lebanese/Syrian cuisine restaurant. My grandparents are Lebanese and I've eaten enough in Lebanon to know what good Lebanese food is, and this hits the mark! Friendly service, and just like when in Lebanon the portions were...ridiculous. You will need to roll out of here, but you will have the biggest smile and sense of fulfillment.

that was not fresh at all. were too small. we ordered a teller with a sortiment of grilled meat euro), and we have a few pieces of meat with lots of potato and brot. the appetizers were the size of a coffee soak....We talked to the waiters who were friendly and helpful, and they told us they would talk to the management. the waiter returned to our table and told us that the administration said: “We are sad, this is the way and wise as it is”. We paid euro for two people, but left the place somehow hungry.

This recently opened Lebanese style restaurant is great new option for dining in Bonn. We have been there once so far and sampled from the nice choice of starters. Everything appeared fresh and homemade, with great authentic taste. Try the Hummus and you will see...that this place is really up to speed. There is also a very good choice of Lebanese wines, which are definitely worth trying! The service is very friendly and helpful. Add the location just at the banks of the river, this is definitely a place to come back to frequently.
