We decided to pop in today for a late lunch and we were so glad that we did. The food (we both had the burger) was perfect and the coffee was of exceptional quality. The very epitome of a well run wee cafe. Impeccable service when there's no tables you're given a beeper to alert when your table is available. This means you're not standing about waiting and instead you toddle around the visitor taking in the incredible view. The food is reassuring and familiar but also generous and well executed. For such a small place they really cater for special diets. It's a perfect place to get fuelled up for a walk or a bike round Beecraigs country park. Top marks. Smashing wee cafe serving big portions at reasonable prices. Friendly staff, and everything can be made coeliac-friendly (so yes, I added a black pudding to my burger! . Big car park, outside tables (no dogs inside as well as inside, and we got an inside table with a view of Arthurs Seat 20 miles away! We had a lovely lunch when we arrived for a two day stay at the caravan park. The female owner of the cafe, didn’t catch her name, was lovely as were her staff. Good was tasty and cooked to order. Great value, quality produce We also enjoyed a breakfast roll and coffee/hot chocolate before we set off home. Super-friendly staff. Very helpful with my GF veggie requirements. They even tolerated my weird coffee request with a smile. I’ve been a few times now and always found it really tasty. Vegetarian options: Gluten-free vegetarian options can be hard to find but I get a great breakfast or lunch here. Very tasty and I keep coming back.
