This place is a must if you want something to eat or drink that's close to your hotel or close to Alexanderplatz. For what it is, it was loud when we were there because of a few large groups but it was great, excellent staff, food, and beer.

Huge place serving Bavarian food. 1L beers are consumed like it was water. Food is tasty and service is ok. Atmosphere is very authentic and German traditional songs are played by the local band. Reminds the Octoberfest from Munich, just in Berlin. Visualizza piatti

Bello il locale tipico bavarese, buona e abbondante la birra, cibo ok. Ma il servizio é orribile, a me é successo che ordinando una portata "base" senza chiedere mi ha portato la variante con gli extra (2 euro in più, per caritá niente di ché peró non va bene uguale) e quando su un conto di 30 euro non ho lasciato la mancia non ha detto nulla e se n'é andata..

Local enorme ambientado como taberna de Baviera. Comida típica alemana a muy buen precio. Llamativo ver a las camareras portando varias jarras de 1 litro de cerveza. Lo único malo: servicio muy lento sobre todo para tomar nota, tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo. Probamos carne asada de cerdo y pastel de carne, muy buenos ambos platos. Recomendable si vas sin prisas

We booked our table online, before travelling to Berlin. The service was excellent, we were served very quickly and with a smile. The food is 100% German, meatloaf that was suspiciously spam-like, served with 'potato salad' that comprised boiled, sliced potatoes coated cold in a thin mayonnaise sauce, and Curry wurst with sauerkraut; both meals came on cold plates.The wooden benches are hard and the musical duo, dressed in the proper attire of lederhosen, played and sang typical beer kellar songs, without much enthusiasm.We only stayed for the meal and a drink, and, to be fair, it was early doors and not very full, other diners, like ourselves, were also foreign visitors.
