Lovely cosy setting. The ambiance is calm and welcoming, the service is attentive and professional. Excellent food. Happy to return.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptional. Despite not being able to locate my reservation made through OpenTable, they were able to accommodate us. It was a special celebration for me, so I was extremely thankful for their kindness.

Pros Staff: Great Wine: the only good point, great selection of wines. Cons Food: We had Onglet and Vongole pasta, it wasn't sophisticated at all and poor taste. ins restaurant for the 60th of my mother. the experience was wonderful as always and the personal was particularly brilliant at this opportunity, the organization of the cake, to be brought out at the right time and even some candles for me after I had forgotten it. would be recommended for a special occasion.

When we arrived at Hotel du Vin Bistro, our reservation made through OpenTable did not go through, so we did not have a table despite booking over a week in advance. However, the staff were helpful and were able to find us a table. They were pleasant and accommodating, and the restaurant had a lovely setting. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre. Despite our anticipation for the meal, we were all ultimately disappointed.

the waiters were great. we had 2 birthdays and they were amazingly well maintained. small tasty cake with birthday on the teller written in chocolate and a glass bubble for them! They felt special! they fired our candles and brought out our birthday cakes. there were no Scotch eggs we saw in the other hotel de vin in clifton. my favorites! we had an unfortunate seat looking at the fire exit doors. but everything else was crushed. We had a table booked for 7pm that we were supposed to leave by 8.30 for the second serving but they were able to make the table available for the whole evening, which meant a relaxed pace. Service was excellent, attentive but definitely not in your face. Food was very good. We had the house white which was pretty good. Not a huge selection for vegetarians but enough to have a couple of choices. Really nice atmosphere on the Sat night we were there. Would be happy to go back

The service at this restaurant was fantastic. We celebrated two birthdays and the servers took excellent care of us. They presented the birthday guests with a small cake adorned with "happy birthday" written in chocolate and a glass of champagne, which made them feel special. The staff lit our candles and brought out the birthday cakes. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that there were no scotch eggs available, which happen to be my husband's favorite and we had seen them at another Hotel du Vin in Clifton. The only downside was that we were seated near the fire exit doors. Overall, everything else was fantastic. Thank you.

Took my student daughter here as a special treat to go somewhere that students can't afford! BIG disappointment. Despite being a Friday lunchtime restaurant was almost empy and so no real atmosphere to speak of. Placed at a table in the middle of the restaurant and would probably have felt more cozy on the side. Didn't ask to be moved as assumed the other tables would fill up they didn't. The service was fine, albeit I had to look around a few times to ask for things.......lack of people meant lack of waiters I think. The food pork belly was a real disappointment.
