"We are not long home from an Autumn break in Germany and loved our stay. We realised that German food was not hitting the mark for our British palate, that was until we found Hotel Mohren Post. A local couple had brought us in to...the place telling us we won't find a better place in the town. They were right. We tried to get a table a number of times but it was always booked up for the night! eventually we got lucky and had two lovely nights in the place which seems to double up as a restaurant and a drinking place. Staff were very helpful interpreting the German menu into English for us. Food was well presented tasty and hot."

This place serves traditional Food of very good Quality but the Prices are on the high end. It si very populat in Wangen and difficult to get tables for lunch.

They offer really great breakfasts (not only to their hotel guests), but we had there also very nice summer evening dinner with a grilled pikeperch and nicely chilled Pinot Grigio.

We had a very nice dinner on a Saturday night, the place was packed but the service was still very good! I had a gourmet burger (Alp-style) which was delicious and huge. Very good value for money!

The seating outside is pleasant to enjoy the city life The food is ok and the prices are also ok (a bit on the higher side). The service depends on the day. The inside restaurant looks nice but we could smell the kitchen. Overall average...for food but nice outdoor seating

this simple hotel is located on the main street square, which is a good location. parking when arriving by car) is located in parking minutes to foot to euro per day. on Sunday, so they need a key from the hotel to get their car. the breakfast was very good, but I found the accommodation very easy. it was impossible to have a shower without cleaning the floor, and the bed was small.

we were all down for breakfast where the morning staff were still preparing , they were no problem always welcomed us, breakfast selection was excellent. in the evening we would get back at various times after acquiring a table for...six was not a problem,even though the place was always busy, all the staff we encountered were excellent , the food also the same in a very good atmosphere.

we often stop here on the way from zürich. they need an appetit, because the portions are not small. good quality German tariff for every taste with a set menu for lunch during the week as well as the a la carte. Some... pieces in the menu have smaller portions available. there is a lot on a very extensive menu also with items for vegetarian. vegans might also find something. reservations recommended as it fills up quickly especially at midday.
