The four of us celebrated a birthday here with a delicious lunch. Delicious menu, lovely atmosphere, absolutely great service, even with a touch of humour. Wonderful! We all liked it!

the staff is very friendly and attentive. eating is excellent and the small adjustment requests are not a problem. prefer a not too inflated menu and for good quality, that fits so!Best thanks

Wir haben heute ein reichhaltiges und ausgezeichnetes Mittagessen zum Muttertag genossen. Herausragend war das irische Rindsfilet an einer köstlichen Sauce mit rotem Pfeffer. Berühmt ist auch das variationsreiche Dessert-Büfett .

Familienfreundlich und ein super Dessertbuffet. Wir waren vor 3 Jahren hier. Das Essen für Vegetarier ist besser geworden, die Fleischgerichte seien auch gut gewesen. Der Service war diesmal sehr aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein angenehmes Erlebnis.

Absolut genial und audentisch. Appenzell pur mit der Wirtin Regula!!! Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet ohne Steamer. Daher lecker wie bei Mama. Geheimtip Kutteln und Kalbsleberli! Wer es gerne hat, ein Muss. Wir kommen wieder beim nächsten Appenzell Besuch.

Gepflegtes Ambiente, hervorragender, aufmerksamer Service und ein liebevoll zubereitetes Essen. Dazu die Beratung zur Weinwahl, einfach fantastisch. Kommt dazu, wir haben im Hotel übernachtet, perfekt saubere Zimmer, gute Betten und mit Blick auf den kleinen Park, eine überraschend ruhige und doch zentrale Lage.

die Gastgeber begrüssen ihre Gäste so herzlich, als ob sie Teil der Familie wären. das Restaurant mit den liebevoll gedeckten Tischen, dem warmen Licht und den frischen Blumen ist sehr einladend. die klassischen Gerichte aus der Karte werden mit viel Sorgfalt und Finesse zubereitet. Ich verlasse die Linde immer mit einem wohligen Gefühl und dem Wissen, dass ich bald wiederkommen werde...

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is excellent. We stayed three nights and ate at the restaurant each day for breakfast and dinner. The food is very well prepared and the portions are generous. The service is genuinely friendly and attentive in the way which one can only find at a smaller establishment when one is served by the owners. This is the ideal home base when visiting St. Gallen and the Appenzell.

I eat here at least twice a year and I'm never disappointed. the ambiente is elegant, but not stuffy, the atmosphere is very friendly, and it always eats delightful. in autumn, her game menu is unmatched. my man and I recently celebrated our high-time day. precisely because of the intimate elegance of the restaurant. we had both venison, accompanied by many delicious vegetables. I had the rehschnitzel forest fairy and mean man the venison entrecote. for an appetizer we had both the trio of mostbröckli (appenzeller hardened bark), pumpkin soup and paste with luxuriant sauce. we chose a Portuguese wee called meruge that we loved. an unforgettable dinner!
