I was highly recommended to this restaurant by a friend, and I must say, everything was exceptional! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Fantastic food everytime. They always give me free prawn crackers and an extra 10% off when you collect or order in store. We usually get takeaway once a fortnight and New Hoviwa is the choice most times!

Reasonably priced standard Chinese takeaway. Very nice chow main, chicken balls tasty but the batter a bit limp. Very good beef curry and egg fried rice. All this for £18 as the 2 person set meal, and with prawn crackers. Will try again. Visualizza piatti

Shame we can't choose 0 stars. Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery, and because it was so delayed, Just eat give us the option for a partial refund, which they declined straight away, cancelled the order and blocked the just eat account! Do NOT recommend.

The food was delicious with generous portion sizes at a reasonable price. However, the delivery was a bit slow, but they did provide some complimentary items. I would definitely return to this restaurant again, but I recommend placing orders earlier to avoid delays.

I was very impressed with New Hoviwa. The food was delicious and I would say it is among the best Chinese restaurants in Braintree. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, especially with the 10% discount for walk-ins and collections. I highly recommend trying it out. Visualizza piatti

Pre ordered foods waited nearly 2 hrs ,rang them up was told had lost my order. I said would wait half an hour for them to get it to me. Never came so nearly 3 hours rang up to be told My order had been cancelled without telling me. What terrible service won't be calling again . Didn't even want to give one star but had to.

This was the worst takeaway I've ever ordered. It arrived hot and on time but the quality was really bad. I ordered roast pork fried rice and singapore noodles and it was all super dry with chewy over-cooked meat, hardly a vegetable in sight. Singapore noodles were not the fine noodles as usual put just a usual fried noodles with a ton of curry powder dumped on them which gave them a really nasty texture in your mouth. Will not be ordering from here again.

Myself and my partner usually order our Chinese from here as they are one of the only places to do sweet and sour chicken balls, which are my partner 's preferred dish. It has been a little tardy once or twice, but food still arrived hot and very much edible. It 's certainly not the cheapest or biggest portion sizes, but is very comparable to every other Chinese takeout in Braintree. There was one time we ordered at the actual restaurant and it was a little off-putting as it was clearly a converted living-room in a flat, with kids toys about the place, but it doesn 't stop us from ordering here.
