We loved this restaurant! Especially loved the ricotta, zippoli and the pizza. Along with all our favourites that our mothers cooked for us. Would recommend this at anyone who is in Calabria.

Siamo andati al ristorante come parte di un gruppo turistico. Il cibo era fantastico, l'atmosfera genuinamente amichevole. Si tratta di un'attività familiare multi-generazionale con tutti che danno una mano. Fatevi un favore - ANDATECI!

Se vuoi una bistecca ottima e ami la carne, prova la bistecca fiorentina con le patatine fritte. La migliore che abbia mai assaggiato nei dintorni di Siderno. Il ristorante sulle colline si trova sulla strada di accesso al lato ovest di Gerace.

This place was a find. The food was very good we had the antipasto Della casa and then filetto. The service was also great, and the atmosphere was festive and local, it seems like a place locals would go for a special night out with family, but is not too fancy. We will definitely go back. The desserts looked amazing but we were stuffed.

I arrived the first time on Christmas Day and was quite pleased with the meal and service. The bruschetta mista was excellent as was the veal. Yesterday I ate Sunday lunch there again taking the bruschetta and mixed grilled fish which was outstanding. Even though the restaurant was full service was excellent and staff attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Il ristorante è molto accogliente per quanto riguarda i dipendenti e l'aspetto interno. Abbiamo pranzato con un gruppo di turisti; gli antipasti calabresi erano davvero buoni nella preparazione, nell'aspetto e nel gusto. Formaggio locale, frittata, prosciutto, olive locali, pomodori secchi sott'olio, bietola, ceci. Poi come secondo piatto: carne mista alla griglia con patate arrosto. Penso che sia stato uno dei miei migliori pranzi all'aperto. E lo chef che è venuto a salutarci era davvero una persona molto gentile e amichevole.

The atmosphere is really nice, we ate outside. The waiter (middle age man) was helpful to let us choose what we wanted. He took us to see bottles of wines from Calabria (and share differences), he showed us the different pieces of meat and explained us possible options of cooking them to meet our needs. We did not have fish, but we saw it in the fridge and was clearly extremely fresh (day catch). We only had first and second dish as portions are big. The dishes were outstanding. Excellent value for money (also for the wine compared to many other places).

Non metto 5 stelle solo perché i primi piatti erano tutti particolari e con ingredienti che non ho mangiato così ho dovuto rinunciare e prendere direttamente il secondo, avrei voluto mangiare una pasta con ragù di maiale o qualcosa di più fatto in casa e comune, alla fine penso che almeno un più semplice si adatterebbe nel menu. Mio marito ha preso il primo a dire che era buono, ma senza pretese particolari. i dessert invece super eccellente! Torneremo
