"Restaurante super recomendable. Cogimos el Menú nocturno de degustación para 2 personas. Exquisito. Muuuy bueno y proporcionado en calidad-precio. El servicio excelente. Decoración super acogedora. Música de ambiente muy agradable y el volumen justo para no molestar. La verdad es que hemos terminado encantados! Un gran cena en un sitio sencillo, acogedor y disfrutando de una excelente cocina y personal. Muy probable volver! Mil gracias y felices fiestas."

"Se come increíble! Los cachopos son de concurso y están riquísimos a parte de que son enormes. Tienen una carta con una gran variedad de platos y una carta de vinos muy buena. Los camareros son encantadores. A parte de la sala de restaurante que se ve cuando entras, en la parte trasera del edificio tienen una terraza increíble para cuando hace buen tiempo. Se está suuuper tranquilo. La relación precio calidad es muy buena. Muy muy recomendable!!!"

"What a wonderful experience. We were staying in San Rafael to visit local attractions and picked La Serrata at random from the few open on Monday evening. From the first minute, the owner/waiter was superb, enthusiastically recommending items from the menu, with helpful suggestions. We finished up with exquisite 'judiones ' beans in stew, white asparagus and generous salad, followed by 'chuletillas ', extremely tasty Spanish lamb chops. Although they were items from the 'Menú del Dia ', usually only available lunchtimes, he made all food available in the evening at the same price. He gave us time to relax in between, and the house wine, Viña Mayor, an excellent standard. Unfortunately not open tonight, or we would be returning for a second helping!"

"El pasado sábado 10 de Julio reservamos para comer cochinillo y cordero en el restaurante, ya que nos habían comentado que era uno de los mejores sitios de la Sierra para ello. Y así fue. La comida excelente. Lo malo fue el camarero. Que en varias ocasiones (cuatro), se acerco a retirarnos el plato cuando todavía no habíamos terminado, y desde luego sin preguntar y de forma inoportuna. Lo mismo con las copas de vino, que en dos ocasiones las retiró y ya en su poder le hicimos que las regresara a la mesa. Tampoco preguntó si habíamos terminado para proceder a ello. Solo se acercaba y pretendía llevárselas. Una vez en los cafés, le preguntamos si la casa nos invitaba a un chupito , a lo que contestó: la casa está en mal momento, ya me entiende . La respuesta nuestra fué: No. No entendemos . A lo que se fue y al poco volvió (debió consultarlo) preguntándonos que era lo que deseábamos. Para el mal momento que está pasando la hostelería, un buen restaurante como es este no debiera permitirse el lujo de un camarero que no trata con la debida atención y respeto que el lugar merece a sus clientes. No creo que volvamos a comer allí."
