Il Ristorantino - Menu

Uno dei nostri ristoranti preferiti a Fiumicino, e ce ne sono molti di buoni. Frutti di mare creativi e freschi in un piccolo scrigno. Personale molto cordiale. Non lasciatevi scoraggiare dall'ingresso...una volta che aprite le porte è un elegante nuovo mondo.

Back in Italy and returned to the same restaurant. Once more a great selection of fresh local fish .A slightly varied menu which added interest .Home made bread delightful . The waitress was knowledgeable,discreet and attentive The new dessert plate was fab Another great evening Well worth returning too

Always nice to go back where you know what you expect, but the antipasti medley had some variation, always interesting, excellent. We had typical pasta from Apulia (strascinati),with seafood and some tonnarelli will lobster, both excellent again. Looking forward to visit this little restaurant one more time!

Really good local restaurant which is a little bit away from the centre of Fiumicino. Clearly popular with locals. Excellent seafood just wish we could have tried more dishes. The mixed dessert plate was absolutely gorgeous creme brulee, chocolate fondant, chantilly cream, pannacotta, tiramasu. Lungo macchiatto was excellent as well. Price was modest for what you get. The chef and waitress were both active in the restaurant and were charming, warm people.

Questo piccolo buco nel muro a Fiumicino è stata una grande scoperta. Se non avessero avuto il cartello/logo di TRIP ADVISOR sulla porta, l'avrei sicuramente perso. Era molto pulito, a prezzi ragionevoli e il cibo italiano era delizioso. Buona selezione di vini anche! L'unico lato negativo è che ho dovuto aspettare almeno 15 minuti prima che qualcuno venisse a darmi un menù. Il cameriere maschile era fantastico, tuttavia la ragazza giovane sembrava avere un'atteggiamento negativo nei confronti del servizio agli altri. In generale però è stato un ottimo ristorante e lo consiglierei.

We stayed in Fiumicino for one night before our flight back to Melbourne, Australia. We decided to try Il Ristorantino and we were so delighted that we did. It is exceptional. The food was brilliant the grilled fish and crustaceans was superb as was the pasta with king prawns and shrimps. The desserts were great and the Pinot Noir wine we chose went well with the meal. The service was friendly and efficient. It was also really good that the chef came out to say hello gave us a chance to shake him by the hand for the excellent work he is doing. If you stay in Fiumicino, do yourself a favour and have a meal at Il Ristorantino, it is well worth it.

Assaggio is a lovely place to eat at Leonard da Vinci Airport in Rome. I like the words that are around everywhere that say ‘In Italy each region has its own traditions; reach regions has its own wines.’ The seating here is quite luxurious and found it very comfortable to stop and have a coffee and bite to eat. There were plenty of diners here early in the morning so it must be one of the few places that open early. Whether you’re after a croissant, sweet treats, rolls, fresh juice or coffee, this place has it all. Staff are helpful. Airport has free wifi and there are plenty of plugs around to charge your devices. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly.

We time our flights into and out of Italia to be able to visit Paola at her little place on the river in Fiumicino, and she told us to check out her two favorite places the next time. So this summer she made reservations for us at Il Ristorantino and we greatly enjoyed the meal. Starting with a bottle of Francia-Corta always helps, and the first course of about eight small plates was really interesting and tasty. In fact, I am working on two of them and have modified one to fit our local ingredients, but the lack of fresh mozzarella di bufala in tough to overcome for the second one. Non ero mai stato in questo ristorante e siamo stati sabato per pranzo per un compleanno. Eravamo davvero entusiasti di questo ristorante: intimo, caldo e si mangia divinamente! Pulizia e cortesia senza pari. Una volta arrivati, dopo i controlli anti covid, vi offrono un prosecco con uno stuzzicadenti e poi ordinate. Ottimo antipasto e davvero originale, sia per il crudo (ricciola, salmone e tonno con fragole ed erbe croccanti) sia per la cotta (insalata di mare, panna di ceci e merluzzo, burrata con alice e molti altri).
