Indian On The Hill - Menu

A lovely seaside spot, a shame this Indian didn’t live up too it’s surroundings. Staff were rude, the food awful tasteless and bland.

Very friendly service. Absolutely the nicest Indian Takeawy we have had in a long time. Very tasty and recommens the king prawn curry and fish pakoras

I have experienced a lot of different styles of Indian cooking through various takeaways around the country and in my opinion, this one offers equally as good as any sampled. Definitely would use it again!

Dreadful. Waitress was about as charismatic as a throat infection. Poppadoms tasted of cardboard. No spoons chutney tray. We did not stay to order. Shame given location. I have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants and this was by far the worst .

Frogs legs on a curry house menu?? No atmosphere. Service too fast but friendly. Food not up to standard. Mild,medium or hot just about summed it up! Prawns soaked in hot, spiceless gravy is not an authentic Punjabi dish! They couldn't wait to get us...out. Neither could we!

If you want a curry that you can get in any usual curry restaurant don't go here, if you want fresh tasting authentic Indian dishes then you'll love it I'd go as far as saying its up there with Chutney Mary or Veeraswamy. Delicious, a...great little find, very helpful charming staff too.

We popped in without booking having been to the next door Red Lion for drinks. Service is very friendly and attentive and the decor is very. nice. We ordered the chicken Biriani and the Lamb Rogan Josh with a side and the portions are plentiful...and the spicing spot on having been asked how spicy we liked it. To address the negative comments the chicken we had did appear to be thigh but was tender and flavoursome. The bill was very reasonable given the quality of food service. Thanks for a great meal!

We had our first experience of this unique restaurant last week and were blown away. The food is superb, not cheap but value for money as the food is very good quality and the portions generous. Really delicious sea bass and squid. My wife loves...Indian food but can’t deal with chilli so the chap who took our order not only helped ensure that this was facilitated but gave us a number to text in future the day before for any other dish which could be specially prepared in advance. Looking forward to trying lots more dishes and can recommend wholeheartedly. M

this is not her usual Indian restaurant/takeaway. it's a little business running from an older couple to be honest like a hobby I think. it is not open every day and it is best to book a table. the menu is not extensive...many items offer as many Indian restaurants and there are some possibilities that they may not expect to see. cherry legs come in the senses. they have said what they get is absolutely sublime. we went last night in a group of 6. we all agreed that eating was stunning. together with the first class and friendly service of the 2 young waitresses this was a really good evening.
