Very lovely restaurant, I have been coming here for over 7 years, the food is amazing and the staff are always very friendly. Lovely atmosphere and a really place to eat nice food. Highly recommend.

Amazing family run turkish restaurant, food is amazing with lots to choose from, the staff are so polite and accomodating. They are very good with children and I have been coming for over 7 years and can not fault them at all.. I really recommend this place to eat

This place does not disappoint! We had a mixed grill for 2 and some drinks, which was absolutely delicious an great size portion. It is consistent every time we go or takeaway. Once again the food was gorgeous but guys I have to say the portion size greatly reduced the Istanbul special me and my son always order was quite disappointing no shredded lamb or chicken on the bedded rice no lamb kofti only 2 lamb chops no sausage I understand the price increases from £28 £40 and happy to pay but come on guys let’s not pull the wool over our eyes go back to your basics that’s what we loved about Istanbul Regards Steve

Absolutely delicious meal. Excellent vegetarian options. Very tasty bread and salad provided free before your meal. We both had the vegetarian Vegetable Kebab, which was wonderful, with aubergines, peppers, mushrooms and onions and an amazing savoury rice. Very generous portions, we were very, very full! Restaurant seems very clean and hygienic, the staff are helpful, friendly and speedy. Lovely atmosphere. Cannot fault this place. Thanks!!

This restaurant is a favorite of ours throughout the year. The food is reasonbly priced you are given complimentary salad and bread befire your meal. The portion sizes are perfect we are always full by the end of the meal. The restaurant is clean and tgere is lovely wall art. The staff are always accommodating and very friendly. Second time round we received raw chicken shish with a wrong order too. First time I thought maybe a mistake as we have never had issues. The man on the phone apologised and asked us to come back and will prepare our order again. A month later we ordered our usual and It’s happened again Spoke to the man on the phone and he told me to send him a picture of the food and then started to become defensive saying the chef has been there for 9 years and they cook chicken medium and if we wanted it well done we have to tell them?! Used to go here years ago and loved it but after todays visit I won’t be back again. The atmosphere….none! Staff were miserable and it wasn’t because it was busy, it was far from it, in fact we didn’t even get a smile. They served our starter with salad but didn’t clear the dishes etc before coming out with our mains. We asked where the salad was for the mains to be told the salad from the starter was it and he seemed pretty put out because we questioned it. I visited a week ago Friday, as 2 friends hadn't been for a month and wanted to go back to eat their tasty, well cooked food again. We arrived at 630pm and were greated with a warm smile. It was relatively quiet, as a little early, but that was nice as it wasn't too noisy for my elderly friend. We chose the Istanbul special for 2 3 people with a side of humus, all to be eaten with the complimentary salad, yoghurt, chilli sauce and their special bread.
