"I have walked by this place many times and it looked unappealing from the outside. I had never bothered to stop here until today. A friend who lives in the area said they make great pizza and we decided to give this a try. It's a very small shop and whilst it looks terrible from the outside, the inside is nice and clean and, a large part of their business is home delivery or take away. There is a table inside with a few chairs and a couple of small tables outside. The menu here is pizza, pasta, burgers, salad and some limited choices for dessert (mostly ice cream . It's also one of these places that delivers till late and will deliver ice cream to your home in case you are desperately seeking something sweet late at night ; yes we do have home delivery for such things in Munich and I only discovered this service last year. I had a Sicilian pizza and it was quite good. It was made quick and the owner was very friendly and helpful. It was slightly below par compared to my favourite in the area but pretty good. The vegetarian pizza was also good. I would happily order from here again. They also have a choice of normal dough or spelt dough (dinkleteig . Not a bad place for takeaway pizza and one of the few places in the area open on a Sunday night."

"Über die Bewertungen hier habe ich mich für das Geburtstagsessen meiner Frau für dieses Lokal entschieden. Gleich vorweg und ganz unmissverständlich: Wenn es bei dieser Bewertung nur um den Service und die Freundlich- und Sachkundigkeit unseres sehr angenehmen und erfahrenen Kellners ginge, würde ich, ohne zu zögern, 5 Punkte vergeben! Bei der unkomplizierten Online Reservierung hatte ich um einen Blumenstrauß und Tischdeko gebeten. Ich erhielt einen Rückruf von einer sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiterin, um Details zu besprechen. ... es wurde ein prächtiger Sommerstrauß, der sogar noch günstiger, als der von mir zur Verfügung gestellte Kostenrahmen war.Anders das Essen: Wir hatten 4 unterschiedliche Gerichte und eine Suppe, von denen zwei mit sehr gut bewertet wurden (Jungschweinebraten und Wiener Schnitzel). Der Pfannkuchensuppe gebe ich drei Sterne - ohne Gemüsejulienne (hatte ich noch nie bei unzähligen bestellten Pfannkuchensuppen in anderen Restaurants) - und mit etwas mehr Geschmack nach Fleischsuppe - wären es möglicherweise 4 Punkte geworden. Zweimal Roast Beef mit viel zu lang gebratenen Bratkartoffeln, sowie das Weinbauerschnitzel (ähnlich wie Münchner Schnitzel) sind mit 3 Sternen noch gut bewertet, weil es alles andere, als befriedigend war. Der Kartoffelgurkensalat war dermaßen "bazig", dass er eher die Bezeichnung Püree verdient hat. Insofern war ich ganz froh, dass es nur wenig davon (unter dem Schnitzel verborgen) gab. Dann gab es noch einen Kaiserschmarrn, der mit drei Sternen gut bedient ist. Leider war der viel zu trocken - z.B. Rosinen würden helfen.Als Geburtstagsessen also insgesamt eine unbefriedigende Veranstaltung, die nur durch den eingangs erwähnten sehr guten Service eine befriedigende Bewertung verdient."

"Wir waren zu zweit da und waren in Summe sehr zufrieden. Als Vorspeise hatte ich eine Suppe mit Nudeln und Hühnerfleisch, die geschmacklich sehr gut und reichlich war. Als Hauptgericht dann 2 x Kalbfleisch, die 42 und die 23 (Spezialität des Lokals) beides auch geschmacklich sehr gut und große Portionen. Die Karte ist sehr umfangreich, der Service ok und Preis Leistung für die Lage in Schwabing auch gut. Da muss man mal afghanisch gegessen haben, das ist sehr gut."

"Looking for a quaint, quiet place to rest & replenish (after having toured through Deutsches Museum for 6 hrs on a hot summer's day), we found this little gem! In fact it was the Italian owner who caught us checking out his lunch menu, mentioning in passing that every Thursday (the day of our visit) was 'hand-made-Gnocchi-day' in his restaurant. If we'd wish to taste heavenly gnocchi - how could we resist his invitation? We chose one of each Gnocchi dishes (Porcini Mushroms & Truffels / Bolognese Bianco) - they tasted amazing!Nice small setting, doors/windows opening onto street, some chairs/tables on sidewalk - very relaxing."

"I celebrated my birthday yesterday with my family and it was incredible! super tasty eating, great workers, superlocal. we are back in every case! the employees have even prepared a small surprise for the final! we felt very comfortable here. they can see how much the customers are appreciated here! everything is done so that you can go home happy again. "my man and I were in a few for a family birthday party. we had some time for us and took public transportation to visit schloss nymphenburg, which was a wonderful excursion also on a windy, wintery afternoon. not quite ready to return to the house...we googled Italian restaurants near me. the one we visited first did not take any plastic. the second location was solo italia. it was a Friday night and the place jumped around 19 o'clock. we didn't even think we were making a reservation, and everyone was taken table. no problem, we could order the cash. it followed several hours of relaxation, delicious eating, weeping and atmosphere. we ordered the green salads that are large, fresh, and most welcome after days very little green on our tellers. pasta bolognese and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. we did not try out the pizzas, although they looked fantastic (and they produced, kept all waiting workers and our bar-tenders very busy to mante the many.) solo italia is a place that prices were much less than the fancier sites round, but the quality of the food was comparable. it was simply a funny, bouncing place. a scream from our barkeeper maurice d. he was very busy with the drinks orders, the semi-trailer pizza and in the regular good work. he still managed to be polite and attentive that we were sitting on his bar. very professional and personal. if they are on the look for a great Italian place outside the Munich city center (but easily reached by tram 25) try solo italia, they have a great time!"
