Jedburgh Tandoori - Menu

Worst Indian restaurant I have ever been too. Food was extremely bland and gritty. Customer service was awful very aggressive owner. Would not return or recommend this place.

Sat for just over an hour waiting to be served, gave up and left still hungry. Paid for drinks we had and told that the cook was on his own as an excuse. Two females at the counter talking and ignoring the few customers. Other customers had to interrupt their gossip to ask to place an order, they were still waiting when we left

The food was mediocre and took over an hour to be served. When we finally received our food, some items were missing from our order. The manager was uncooperative and argued that we did not order the missing items. The restaurant is understaffed, with only the manager and one waitress handling everything. I would recommend avoiding this place.

Came in for dinner on a Saturday quite early. Service was good but the food was average. Not bad, just not great. The rice serving was on the small side, the meat samosas seemed to have very little filling and the naan bread was dry and no flavour of garlic despite having ordered a garlic naan. It wasn’t a terrible meal but we’d be choosing somewhere else to try next time.

Needed somewhere good for a meal out on a Sunday evening in Jedburgh and this tandoori- restaurant didn 't disappoint. It 's a cut-above the standard curry house and has interesting and tasty dishes on the menu along with all the curry house classics. The decor is modern and the service is efficient and friendly. Not spectacular but The Ordinary Punter was more than satisfied.

Place was not too busy, given a table even though we had not booked. One man and one young girl front of house. We waited and waited and waited, even other customers commented on it. Finally got the girls attention to bring menus while three other tables had sat after us and had ordered their food and had been served their drinks. After about 45 minutes we left, seems from other reviews we did ourselves a favour.

I ordered and paid for my food online, and was given a pick-up time. When I arrived at the scheduled time, I was told to wait. After waiting for 40 minutes, my food finally arrived but I was asked for cash even though I had already paid. The staff assured me that my money would be refunded in 3 to 5 days and insisted that I leave to get cash. I did not pay for my meal again but left empty-handed. This experience felt like a complete scam. I will update if I receive a refund.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. We waited a long time for drinks and our food took over an hour to arrive. When it finally came, it was mediocre at best. Some items were missing from our order and when they did arrive, it was already halfway through our meal. When we complained to the manager about the missing items, his attitude was shocking and he refused to apologize, claiming we never ordered them. The restaurant was severely understaffed and the customer service was abysmal. Even paying took a long time. Overall, it's not worth your time or money to dine here.

Went out for a family meal and now I’m sitting eating it out a box in my living room…. Made a reservation for 2 and a high chair , arrived on time no table ready and no high chair , eventually sat us down and stood and held my daughter while they carried on to ignore the fact we were actually there, I carried a baby chair over everybody else that was trying to eat , sat at the table for 40 mins before we had to ask for a menu as again not a single person came over.
