"Firstly I must apologise to Mr Johnny himself (if that is his real name , following our meal I promised to write a review and completely forgot until now! So, firstly the bar/restaurant was a one man band. When we arrived at the bar there were no free tables and Johnny grabbed some stools and set us up at the bar window which was very romantic. With this table we then had a full view of behind the bar and saw every drink and plate that was made! Johnny (I hope that really is his name! was so lovely. He was running and bopping around the place serving drinks, making food, chatting with people, making tables for anyone and everyone, a really impressive host! We ordered some drinks and then proceeded to order the nachos, the burrito and something else that I can't remember (I should have written this review a month ago! but everything was AMAZING! The burrito was made with lentils instead of beans which he explained to us was to put a twist on the traditional burrito recipe and while unconventional, it was amazing! As we munched through our nachos and three different dips, he appeared twice to replenish our nacho supplies. Honestly I cannot fault the meal! It was a spectacular array of vegan dishes with a host to rival the best! Such tasty vegan food and a great atmosphere to go with it! The only regret I have is that I didn't write this review when I said I would so sorry Johnny, and anyone reading this you should head to Johnny Aldana's and try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed!"

Great little place just outside the center of Barcelona. The food is fresh, homemade, vegan/vegetarian and tastes delicious. And if you're not hungry, just stop by for a drink and a chat with the owner, Charlie, who's a great guy to be around

What a discovery. We have been looking for great vegetarian options throughout our Spanish adventure and are so excited to find this little bar! One of our group of four is vegetarian and starving by the end of our trip through Spain we discovered Jonny Aldana’s on our last night in Barcelona and all of us vegetarian and meat eaters have loved the freshly prepared and brilliant food. We had the dips freshly blended in front of us while we sipped mojitos so yum The vegan lasagne and black rice specials were incredible. We asked Charlie (our chef and bartender) to surprise us and bring us a selection of food and it did not disappoint. Cannot recommend highly enough if you are vegan or vegetari...
