Castle - Piatti

Visited a week ago during a short visit, was very impressed. Nice quiet restaurant, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Meal was lovely. Every intentions of visiting again.

We have been visiting this restaurant in Inverness for the past 20 years for their haggis, neeps, and tatties. We have never been disappointed. Although prices have increased significantly over the years, it is still a good value.

Went here last week as heard it had been taken over, hadn't been in ages as last time was not good, well the cafe is beautiful in side and the food excellent, service very friendly staff would definitely recommend, will go back again Visualizza piatti

Visited JP at the Castle on the way up and then the way back from the NC500. The Haggis panini is good, but the bacon, Brie and redcurrant is orgasmic. Two girls working front of house are absolutely amazing, would come back for the service alone, it just helps that the food is brilliant too.

We dropped by this restaurant near closing time, mistaking it for a different "castle" pub down the street. Despite arriving only 20 minutes before closing, the service was outstanding and the food was very delicious. We never felt rushed and were well looked after. I would highly recommend this place as a hidden gem off the beaten path for tourists.

We visited recently for the first time after the renovation. The interior is lovely and spacious. The waitress serving us was so accommodating and helpful. This was even more impressive as she me ruined it was one of her first shifts! We really enjoyed the food and thought there was a good choice of vegan vegetarian options. We popped in on the way home from shopping. The place was empty, surprisingly, apart from one other customer but then it is January. The two young waitresses were so lovely, efficient and welcoming. The food was excellent and the wine, my husband says, was served to perfection! We would definitely return and encourage others to visit as you will not be disappointed. Support local!

The restaurant was very busy and the service was slow with a 15-minute wait just to receive the menu. Our food arrived 40 minutes after we arrived, which was much slower than other busy cafes in town. The food was just okay with modest portions. Cold tap water was provided upon request. The seats were not comfortable and were difficult to get in and out of (booth style, solid wooden bench seats). Overall, we were unimpressed with the experience and are unlikely to return.

Myself and my cousin both have dietary requirements that were very tricky to accommodate. However coming into JP the castle restaurant we were both so delighted after looking at the menu. I am vegan and my cousin is gluten free- there were actual choices as well and it’s the first time I’ve looked forward to something I’ve ordered out in a long time!. The service was impeccable. Staff were genuinely lovely and the atmosphere was cozy!. Not to mention the place itself is immaculately clean!. We then went back the next day for the vegan breakfast.
