"The owner of the cafe is wonderful. We arrived just after they opened and he promptly made us 5 bacon sandwiches. He was very friendly and talkative, even giving my sister a free cookie (which she devoured quickly) and a Coca Cola, and giving me a cup of tea for my sister's birthday. A true treasure for the small village, I highly recommend it for tourists like us, as well as locals. Thank you again!"

"Placed a large website order (7 people) in the last few days, was horrified by the food as previously given good recommendations. Some of the chips were undoubtedly left over from lunch time or previous day. They were dried, shriveled and tasteless. Sausages not much better. Some chip portions were better than others. My son felt sick half way thru sausage and chips and refused to eat the rest. Fish (cod) was mediocre at best. Only food which was vaguely nice was the kebab meat but had excessive amounts of chilli sauce on it. Won't be returning. My family lives locally too so they won't be returning either"

"we came here to get some warm food while we walk around the opposite. we saw that other guests had the sizzling steak like that. we also had the garlic pans, garlic mushrooms and mushroom soup. it was all very well cooked except the mushroom soup that was not to our pleasure. the food seemed freshly cooked and was very delicious! the salat was not too fresh, but was good enough for us. we drank water, but saw that there was a good cocktail menu! the prices were really good for us and the service was really good. the waitress was really nice. it was a beautiful place and beautiful experience. would come back to taste a cocktail and my partner wanted to return the next day, but I voted for Chinese."

"Last Sunday at 2pm, my group of seven people visited a cafe near a full car park and lots of adventure activities. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a unfriendly manager who informed us that they were not serving hot food. We were only looking for coffee after a long walk in the hills nearby, but he said they were only serving drinks to their "paying customers" - meaning the bikers and zip liners. We ended up not spending around six or seven pounds per person on coffee and cake, and this experience has left us with no desire to return to the area or recommend Zip World."

"Once we sat down, we were informed that we had to place our orders immediately because they were closing. Each of us ordered our own curries and separate naan breads. When the dishes arrived, five of them appeared identical in both color and flavor. Two were vegetarian, and all of them were bland with no real taste. They didn’t serve alcohol, so we opted for soft drinks, which were simply cans of Coke or glasses of water. The woman who took our orders seemed to be either the owner or the owner's wife, and she was quite rude. She didn’t appear happy to see us or serve us. It’s baffling how anyone could give this place a high rating. The food was tasteless and bland, the chicken was plain, and the curry sauce left stains on our fingers due to excessive food coloring. The naan was overly chewy. This establishment feels outdated and definitely needs a refresh. To top it all off, we were not allowed to keep our receipt. The food simply wasn’t worth the price we paid; it felt like a rip-off. Do yourself a favor and eat elsewhere! In fact, you’d be better off heading to the Tesco down the road, where you could easily put together a more flavorful meal at a fraction of the cost."
