"Wow! My experience at this restaurant was more than just a simple lunch - it was a friendly and delicious experience from start to finish. The staff worked seamlessly together, providing quick and efficient service in a charming setting with multiple indoor and outdoor spaces. They were able to help me with travel and local information promptly, making me feel like I was at the heart of Old Aberdeen where everyone is treated like a special guest. The soup of the day, a unique blend of broccoli, spinach, and peas, was offered in half portions and paired perfectly with their artisan bread and indulgent scones. The cheesecakes looked tempting, but I was already quite satisfied with my meal. It was clear from the happy customers around me that I wasn't the only one impressed by this restaurant. I'm already looking forward to returning with my friends in the near future."

So many places don't know what's in their food. These guys have it nailed and a lovely helpful attitude. Oh, and the coffee rates ten as well

On my first visit to Aberdeen, came across this cute little café which has the most welcoming team. Coffee was outstanding, cliché but I have not had better. Surrounding area is quaint, near University of Aberdeen.

Wonderful cafe. Excellent coffee, delicious food we had the vegan breakfast the sweet potato crepe the best cheesecake I've ever tasted. Sat in the sunshine in harming courtyard garden. Friendly efficient service. Highly recommended.

Ever since my friends and I started university in 2019, we have been frequenting Kilau. We love it so much that our family has also started visiting. Delicious sandwiches, especially the spur dough rolls. Good vegan and vegetarian options. Coffee is Delicious and unpretentious, served by plenty of staff who are lovely and upbeat. Definitely one of the best cafes locally and that I've been to in a while. Slightly more expensive than other nearby options, but absolutely worth it.

Had my first visit to Kilau Coffee yesterday. We trudged there in horrible, snowy conditions and I was hoping it was worth it tbh ..... It was! I felt welcomed and looked after. Lovely coffee (and I’m very picky) and tempting choice of breakfast/brunch items, gorgeous scones and cakes. Different dietary requirements are clearly marked. As we left to go back into snowy Old Aberdeen, a long line of people were making their way in to have lunch. I would have loved to stay longer but there’s always the next time.
