Don’t go ever it’s like faulty towers but not funny as that show was the landlord comes into your room whilst your in the bar locked door or not

Came here with my children and other family members for the Sunday roast. The owners were friendly and so good with the children. Roast was tasty and portions a decent size. Really bargain price too. Thank you all!

excellent original family audience. I took my mother for a nice roast. located in a residential street, it could have been very “click” but that was not the case. the renter was welcoming and his mother is a jewel! excellent eating, beautiful people and. perfect to house! have already booked

We was made very welcome at the hotel.we had a lovely evening.all the staff when we had breakfast was very polite and helfull.my wife lost a earing on the decking, the following day the staff went out there way to retrieve the earing,which they found...the earing.the earing was very sentimental to us.

our first visit since john diane took over the kgw again, our Sunday dinner was great. the bark was very tender, the bratkartoffeln were crisp and everything was hot and served our table of helpful and friendly staff. very reasonable...price for such an excellent Sunday roast cannot wait to return. highly recommended! Didn’t want to go in as pub was displaying a “vote Brexit” sign but it was a convenient for me to stop. Inside it was worse than I could have imagined. Wall to wall Gammon! Old white men in huddles muttering offensive comments about ethnic...minorities foreigners. It was like I’d got in a time machine arrived in the 70’s! Stay away.

Our first visit to KGW since the new owners, John and Diane, took over was a pleasant surprise. Our Sunday dinner was fantastic. The roast was tender, the roasted potatoes were crispy, and everything was served hot to our table by the helpful and friendly staff. We highly recommend this place for a delicious Sunday roast and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Contrary to the last review which seems unbelievably written without having actually visited the pub, I can assure you all that this pub is still going strong. As a regular, I can inform those interested that the beer range is now enhanced with up to...9 craft keg beers as well as cask. Freshly prepared Sunday roasts are 2 for £8.95 and represent great value for money. The landlord now supports live music with up to 4 gigs a week which has revitalised the pub at a time when so many are closing. B&B is now also a key part of it's success.
