"While we were driving through Austria for our trip to Slovenia, we stopped in the little town off of the highway and ended up at Whitestone Logo by accident, and it was the best accident we've ever made. It was a warm April afternoon and we wanted to sit on the patio. There was a family inside and us on the patio and that was it. The waitress came by and even with the language barrier, she was a patient with us and helped us choose what to get. At the time, I couldn't have dairy so I had a pizza with no cheese, mushrooms, and spinach and it was DELICIOUS! All their pizza is thin crust and I swear it just melts in your mouth. My husband got a meat pizza and my sister in law got a veggie pizza as well. The reason we still talk about this place to everyone we encounter almost a year later is because of the pizza my brother got. They have a pizza on their menu that is super hot and actually they have a wall (Wall of Flame to be precise) dedicated to those who can actually finish it. My brother got the second hottest, because he thought it wouldn't be too spicy. HE WAS WRONG! The pizza he got was called the Diavolo. Although the Diavolo was very spicy, it was packed with so much flavor he couldn't stop eating it! It was so fun though because the chef brought it out to him and discussed how hot it was and how he should avoid touching any sensitive areas on his body, especially his eyes. She also then brought him tonic water because she said it cures the burn (which we Americans always though it was milk, but tonic water seriously is magical....keep that in mind). She kept checking up on him every five minutes to make sure he was okay. When he was finally finished eating the entire pizza, she brought him out a glass of water and some buttermilk to soothe the burn in his throat. Not only was this such an amazing find during our road trip, the staff was so enjoyable, the view patio was great, and the food was delicious! My family has this place bookmarked in case we make another trip through Austria soon! Thanks for such great hospitality, Whitestone!"

"our tour group of 20 came at 18 o'clock to the hotel in salzburg. before the arrival our local guide recommended us to taste the steak and pork dishes as it is known. when we arrived, the restaurant was empty only with 2-3 tables, but soon more people came by, probably because of the evening meal. the restaurant was bright, clean and spacious. there is even a children's play area and a mini mart is located right next to it. So we went to the counter to see which courts were available. so they have ordered a main course and depending on what they order, they can have one or two next-courses free of charge. in the average was a main course about 14-16 euro, which was very expensive to our view after looking at the small part. when we tried to order the steak and pigs' main course, but they were said they were sold out! which sweat was that? it was still early in the evening and everything away? they only left the fish and the hew (which we already tired of them, as we have eaten them almost daily for the past week) and pasta in tomatensoße! (we only eat cream sauce pasta) it was a one-man show. the chef was responsible for ordering, cooking the main course and at the same time cooking for the beside dishes that are on ala carte DIY display. so they can expect the service was very slow, especially if they make a few people before them order. Of course, if they don't want this, they can go to other side of the restaurant and something for the di salatable (but very limited variety), baked or cake, ice or drinks (or simply go to the mini brand to get a sandwich or hot coffee that some of our tour mats did this). payment wise, pay at the central bank. we decided to go for a cake instead of made as nothing available then appetit for us. so we ordered a strawberry cheese cake (about 4 euro). it was pretty, tasteful and cheeky and decided to have our late dinner in the hotel instead! Also note that if you want to use the washroom here, it is to pay 0.50 euro per person per entry. but they can use the reception to compensate for the height of the purchase in the restaurant and that 's reasonable and good, in contrast to most places it's not refundable or redeemable. we could not comment on the food quality of these main courses, but the feedback of our fellow travelers was generally ok, except that the proportion on the basis of paid prices and not so worth money. but as for the cheesecake, it was nice and good!"

"Habe mich hier angemeldet um was los zu werden , da uns diese Art von Bedienung total als der Bahn gerissen hat .So sehr , dass wir ohne die Sehenswürdigkeiten anzuschauen abgereist sind .Wir kamen gegen 20:30 , nach sehr langen Anfahrt mit viel Stau mit einem kleinen Kind, völlig erschöpft und wollten nur kurz was essen .Nun standen wir zunächst im eingengsbereich . Bedienungen rannten vorbei , hin und her , bis ich eine ( vermutlich Azubi ) angesprochen habe .Das Mädchen kannte sich zwar nicht aus , hatte es doch hinbekommen , dass wir einen essplatz zugewiesen bekamen .Wir sollten zwar schnell aussuchen , da die Küche um 21:00 schließt , was für uns ja auch völlig verständlich war .Schließlich hatten wir auch nicht vor lange zu bleiben , unter anderen , weil da eine seltsame Atmosphäre herrschte ...einfach unfreundliche , dicke Luft . Man fühlt sich auf keinster weise dort willkommen .Essen kam schnell, war einfach , aber wirklich lobenswert . So , und ab da reihen sich Ereignisse aneinander , die wir nicht erklären können -Da wir zahlen wollten und aber komplett ignoriert wurden ist mein Mann ( mit dem an ihm klebenden Kind )auf die Suche nach jemanden , der uns das Geld für das Essen abnimmt , gegangen .Er erklärte der Kellnerin , dass der kleine müde ist und wir gerne zahlen würden . Den Rechnungsbetrag von 32,20€ hat er auf 35€ aufgerundet ( 2,80€ Trinkgeld ).Sie schaute ihn entsetzt an ( das war das letzte mal, wo einer von uns da überhaupt angeschaut wurde) , schnappte das Geld und dampfte ab.. (Weder "bitte" , noch "Danke" ?!)..Scheinbar zum Tisch ( an dem ich mich befand ) , hat mich weder angeschaut , noch gefragt , ins geschmeckt hat .. Als wäre hier nur Luft , und fing an abzuräumen . Sie stellte sich sogar mit dem hintern zu mir ! Dann versuchte ich die seltsame Situation mit :" Danke mehrmals , das Essen war sehr gut " zu lockern . Null Reaktion !??? Wie geht so was bitte !??!?!Nun packten wir unsere Taschen und Jacken , gingen an der selben Bedienung vorbei , " Danke , auf Wiedersehen !" Gerufen .. Ebenfalls volle Ignoranz ..( sie war keine 2 Meter von uns enfernten und hat es sicher gesehen und gehört ).Wir reisen viel und haben vieles erlebt , wie habe auch keine hohe Ansprüche , alleine schon deshalb , weil wir selbst in Dienstleistungsbereichen , mein Mann sogar selbst als Kellner !! tätig sind und für fast alles Verständnis haben .Aber dieses Erlebnis hat uns einfach niedergeschmettert ..Bis heute können wir es nicht erklären , wie man Kunden , Gäste .. Egal , einfach andere Menschen , abgesehen davon , dass sie dir Geld bezahlen , so behandeln kann ?!Jedenfalls haben wir in golling ( zum Glück wo anders ) übernachtet , ausgecheckt und abgereist .Wir hatten genug von dieser Ortschaft ..Schade , dass solche Personen so abschreckend wirken ."

"Ich bedauer es gerade sehr diese doch eher negative Rezession zu schreiben, da das Personal außerordentlich freundlich ist.Jedoch gibt es einige Kritikpunkte die ich jetzt gerne nennen würde. Die Portionsgröße zum Beispiel ist nicht angebracht. Wir als Familie hatten nach dem Besuch alle noch hunger.Das Ambiente ist an sich ist gemütlich bedarf aber trotzdem mal einer kleinen Renovierung. Im Restaurant spürt man eine gewisse Hektik. Eine nette Dame muss etwa 10 Tische zur gleichen Zeit bedienen. Man merkt das sie dadurch sehr gestresst ist. Das äußert sich mit Sprüchen wie: ,,Mal ein Tisch an dem alles klappt! oder ,,Zum Glück sind sie zufrieden. Die Pizzen sind perfekt. Zubereitet werden sie von einem Italiener der Ahnung von seinem Fach hat. Echt klasse und originell!Die Sanitäranlagen (sprich WC) sind auch nicht die schönsten. Man gelangt auch nur dahin in dem man beinahe durch die Küche laufen muss.Das Essen an sich schmeckt echt gut. Jedoch war der Parmesan den wir zum Nudelgericht gereicht bekamen nicht genießbar. Es handelte sich dabei um das einfachste vom einfachen.Verloren ist an sich nichts. Man kann vieles ohne eine Menge an Arbeit verbessern. Ich hoffe meine Kritik kommt gut an. Mfg"
