Found this bar while walking around the centre of Hamburg. A great little bar with lovely staff. Small on space but a decent range of beers and some rarer whiskies - Jack Daniels Single Barrel lead to a headache the next morning! Visualizza piatti

Really enjoyed my two visits to this bar. The bar staff was fantastic and friendly. Best gin and tonic I have ever tasted at this place (hint: use the Monkey47 gin). If you are in central Hamburg, stop in this place. The sandwiches are pretty tasty too!

My friends and I visited Klimperkiste during our weekend in Hamburg. This is a cosy unpretentious little bar with a mixed clientele. They have a good selection of beer and cocktails. The staff were also very friendly and helped us with suggestions for other bars. Would definitely return, highly recommended.

Good bar with a pleasant atmosphere, nice staff and decent beer. Has bar snacks if you're peckish, although I didn't try those.It's in an area of town where you might not expect to find such a facility. If you are staying at the Messe on business and fancy a break for some normality, I would recommend taking a stroll here for a couple. Visualizza piatti

This wonderful pub was local to where I was staying for a short trip. The staff were amazing and helpful giving advice on directions and places to visit. Beer was considerably cheaper here than other locations with a very enjoyable range of bar snacks. While all other places were closed this little gem is open until 4am weekdays & 6am weekends. Highly recommend

This bar has a very mixed clientele to say the least. It is a strange mix from teenagers to pensioners but is very well run. There are plenty of different drinks and food available even though it doesn't feel like a "food" pub. I would imagine it gets even more lively in the early hours but we never got to find out as we are in bed by 1am to be ready for another full day in Hamburg. The staff are a credit to this place and all speak English and are very welcoming.

We went into Klimperkiste for drinks on the recommendation of our friend, who had visited before during business trips to Hamburg - great recommendation!We were immediately made welcome - the staff are very friendly and helpful. The décor is really great, with plenty of sectioned off corners if you prefer somewhere a bit more private to sit. The drinks menu is extensive with something to suit every taste, even cocktails. Although we didn't actually eat, the snacks menu looked pretty good too! The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming - we would certainly go back to Klimperkiste on our next trip to Hamburg.
