"Based on previous reviews I went with high expectations. Unfortunately it was disappointing, even for a cheap and cheerful place with a white ceramic tiled floor. By Birmingham or Glasgow standards the food was ordinary at best. The spicy pappadams were fine, but came with the same workaday chutneys as the onion pakora. My hopes that the latter would approximate an onion bhaji were soon dashed: instead I got battered onion rings sprinkled with salt and asa foetida, but which were otherwise near on tasteless. The saag paneer at least was excellent: generously spiced, rich but not overly heavy. The kitchen is open to the main restaurant, which means you won’t be served something that has been dropped on the floor. But prices are not quite so cheap, if you factor in the cost of laundering all your clothes afterwards: for they will be deeply impregnated with the aromas of the subcontinent."

Great food on Budget. Better than some of the more expensive restaurants around. They serve hot Bhatura's, that's like heaven... The staff is good and friendly.

After with great difficulty finding a parking place we took a table and had a wonderful dinner the service was friendly helpful and efficient the food was fantastic very nice great value for the money.

I have been here for Hannover Messe. Place was full but after minutes I got a sest. Good choice of vegetarian meal, I've select a Tadka Tal (rice with a lentils soups) and fried bread. Food was awesome, also service was very good!

A small restaurant with good service, great food that is so good and doesnt cost a fortune. Try the Dal Shorba, its spicy but very good.The dont have the naan bread in the menu so just ask for it you would like to have one. The came out as a hughe ball and was very good. We would definitely eat here again!!

The food is really tasty and the team here is all from Punjab in India which is famous for its large variety of cuisine and taste. If you plan to taste Indian food, i would 100% recommend this. Neeraj and Pali Singh are very sweet guys i met and they take good care of everyone. This place is not so expensive and the menu options are vast. Be there, you will love it. ☺

juli we wanted to eat at another restaurant but I was full so we walked across the street and we diceded to eat at Koh-I-Noor. We ordered lamb shaag curry and chicken Jalfrezi curry with bread and it was amazingly yummy!! The bread...is soft and tasty. The lamb was soft and spicy! The chicken was spicy and you could still tasted all the flavours. We went back a day later and we ordered different curry's and these where also amazingly tasty! Thank you for amazing food for a fantastic price!

We came with high expectations after reading so many positive reviews on the Internet and were still surprised about the excellent food quality. Of course, this location won't win any design award ever and it's not the place for special occasions, but if you are looking for authentic and tasty Indian food in a casual environment, this is your place. With starters all less than 5 Euro and main courses less than 10 Euro, it's also a great value. After trying many Indian restaurants in Hannover, we found this to be the best one.
