I haven't had a single disappointing meal so far. As for the service, I opted for takeout for dinner. The price per person ranges from £20 to £30. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 and the service a solid 5 as well.

Service was friendly, wait was not too long . But check your order as we were short when we got home to ryde. The meal was OK but ruined by having to split because the order was short. Parking: Parking at back but you have to know how to get round back. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Noodles were lovely. Chicken balls were way over cooked. Don't have Chinese very often. But the chicken balls are normally really nice. These were burnt and not very nice.. such a shame. "We visited Bellamy's Bistro 2 weeks ago. If having a meal after 6pm there is parking on the main Street for free. We managed to get an earlier ferry across to the island and after contacting Bellamy's, staff very kindly brought the time of our table forward. Me and one friend had the carbonara and cheesy garlic bread, which was lovely and tasty and my other friend had Bourgenon which she also really enjoyed. The owners were very friendly and were talking to us about how they came to the Isle of Wight. I would definitely recommend."

"My wife and I have visited all of the Character Inns on the island and in each the staff have been very friendly. The Caulkheads is no exception, though this is our least favourite of the group. Despite being the nearest geographically to where we live on the island. It is perhaps because we have visited at quieter times, in winter, when the pub was still rather cold, that it has seemed less inspiring. Though admittedly, we have been disappointed by the food here too, which arrived slowly and less warm than I would have liked. perhaps again, due to being during colder weather, more difficult to keep hot. We haven't given up on The Caulkheads, we will try another visit sometime, perhaps in the Summer months."

"Today was our first visit and we highly recommend for any couples friends who are going out for lunch!! Donna and John were both so warming and welcoming on arrival and they have a wide variety of panini’s, sandwiches, jacket potato’s and beautiful cakes sweet treats on their menu! We had the best pulled pork paninis and fruit scones!! We haven’t stopped telling everyone about it! We definitely will be returning and highly recommend a visit for anyone visiting Shanklin!"

"Booked after looking for somewhere for Sunday Lunch. So glad we did as it was busy. However, tables are well spaced and the staff are very organised. We didn’t feel rushed at all (other than the fact we had a ferry to catch). We both had roasts (one chicken, one beef), the plates were piping hot and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. I’ve no idea how they make their cauliflower cheese but it is off the scale. We were stuffed but managed to share a crème brûlée (also delicious). This could easily become our go to place when we visit IoW as I’m keen to see if the other food is as good. Just superb!"
