"In the late afternoon we needed room in Regensburg to warm up, but we didn't want a cake anymore (AndiH thinks thank God! because it wasn't long until dinner. And what was closer to looking directly at the place we were standing before, and that was the “Krauterer” at the Krauterermarkt, in the immediate vicinity of the “Heuport” we had visited a few hours before, so also a tourist castle at the Dom. In spring 2016, the host house was opened in a former house chapel of the old Patrizierburg. Inside, some elements remember old times. The rustic ceilings and the dark wood panels make something. The center of the front part of the restaurant is the large bar with its huge mirror. The tables and chairs in bistro style make a rest to find themselves here. The main factor, however, was the pleasant warmth that received us. A look at the cake counter had to be and was very tempting, but the coming dinner stopped us from. We ordered a Cappucino (3,20 € and a milk coffee (3,70 €) and hoped that both drinks were really hot. And then they were actually, I could warm my hands first on my cup. Strong, aromatic, delicious. A look into the menu of course also had to be. Here, defensive Oberpfälzer cuisine is offered under the kitchen line of a Canadian cook. If the “Heuport” has no main dish under €20, the prices here in the “Krauterer” are between normal €10 and €16, a very clear difference! Civil prices despite the exposed situation! I cannot report on the quality and size of the parts from my own experience, but in all joint assessment portals, four to four and a half stars do not sound bad. The food here attracted us, but we had already reserved a table in the “Dicker Mann” inn."

Didnt tastes the food, but the beer was good, a classic white. I would normally give 4 stars for a café/restaurant that is not exceptional, but good enough- but the view of St. Peter is stunning.

Although most of regensburg is for tourist, there were actually some locals here. the atmosphere is good, the service fast and our lunch was pleasant if not excellent. we were here with a group and all got a set menu. gnocchi so, dessert better. Visualizza piatti

On a sunny day, sitting beneath the sun umbrella, and sipping a beverage at Krauter am Dom is a pleasant way to recharge. The menu has several tasting sounding offerings. Unfortunately, they were out of my first choice, so I opted for the schnitzel. It was made well. My friend's salad was lovely with a unique pan fried fish cake (tasty with a strong fish taste).

I was in the cathedrale and saw the restaurant over the street and it looked out, but I decided to try it. the outside was full, but I went in. the girls helped me load my phone after a morning of the pictures. nina was. my waitress and she was very friendly and efficient. I have the nudes with speck. the sauce on the 2 mounds was a cream sauce with chanterelles and it was wonderful. I loved it. nina recommends a dessert of white cake with a layer of chocolate in the middle and on the top a light layer of cherry, a layer of picked cream and another layer of chocolate. I was in heaven. the coffee with cream was perfect.
