"High above the villages the fine dining and elegant hotel will set you back a fair few dollars but it 's worth the experience. We found the staff to be simply wonderful and the service unfussy but efficient. A mix up on the reservation meant we had booked wrong dates, but were accommodated without fuss or embarrassment. Opting for the tasting menu (actually the only option you just choose how many courses you want) was a meal that we will remember for years. 6 tasting courses followed on from tasty amuse bouches and welcome drinks , signalled we were in for a treat. Breakfast in the morning was simple, fresh and equally elegant. Switzerland is an expensive country to visit and the room rates and supper, are no different, so be prepared to pay. It is an amazing experience, so treat yourself and worry about it later."

The terrace views of nearby farms, the lights of Zurich, and the Alps in the distance are spectacular. The food is excellent and the service is very, very friendly.

In der Krone Regensberg stimmt einfach alles: Wunderschönes Ambiente (Apéro und Amuse Bouches werden in der gemütlichen Lounge eingenommen , sehr leckere und kreative Gerichte, tolle Weine (grosse Auswahl aus der Schweiz und extrem sympathischer Service! Wir kommen gerne wieder;

From check-in to check-out, everything exceeded our expectations! The staff was warm, engaging and very attentive. Dinner was exquisite with Chef Ale Mordasini and we were pleased to have stumbled upon such a wonderful hotel! We highly recommend Hotel Krone Regensberg for a luxurious and relaxing stay.

The chef and the staff take great care in preparing and presenting beautiful and delicious meals made with local ingredients (the waiter could literally point out the window to show us the vineyard where the wine came from, the bakery where the bread was baked, or the cows that made the milk for the butter! .
